Pavilion was considered one of the best places to have your outlet or to have your retail stores, and Pavilion today would be the number two in Malaysia, as Dr. Selby said “Moving into pavilion, was actually a very good strategy. However, for Straits Q in Penang, at that time Straits Q Penang was mean to be the best shopping destination in Penang, but now Straits Q is just consistently going down. Straits Q was build along side with a huge residential complex. Apartment and houses for thousands people which all sold. The problem is that the buyers are almost Singaporean and British which do not live there and only come for holiday. They do not think that the location for Straits Q was perfect. They were always looking at market trends, looking at what customers want, and where they were at “When we look at what we were doing with the restaurant, is always seeing what a market, it always keeping on track with our competitors.
