The world is a very large space that consists of different people with different cultures and ethnicities. The world is a complex space that has many unstable factors influencing how it occurs. The world is a big space that allows millions of people clustered regarding minorities and majorities and isolated to exist. The world, from the perspective of the map, is a circular space that consists largely of water and land where the different cultures and ethnicities it supports subsists on. The world is so diverse since it has many different types of people divided regarding race, religions, ethnicities, education, social status
What does one’s response to conflict say about them? What is the best response? Studies show that positivity is one of the most effective way to react to conflict. Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl whose diary became “Anne Frank: the Diary of a Young Girl,” always tried to have a positive attitude and make the best of everything in her terrible situation. In “Dear Miss Breed” by Joanne Oppenheim, sixteen-year-old Louise Ogawa wrote in her letters to Miss Breed about how even though the living conditions were ruthless, she was determined to see the light. Positivity can affect not only one’s self, but those around them as well. In the face of responding to conflict, positivity can reduce stress and anxiety, help health, and provide a better environment.

“In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart,” observed Anne Frank, a nationwide and posthumous author of the Holocaust. Anne Frank suffered many hardships during her lifetime for a 15-year old female: going into hiding for 25 months, living in a concentration camp for a year, and dying of typhus fever. Anne Frank wrote “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl”, where she describes her experience hiding from the Nazis. Joanne Oppenheim also describes the hardships of Louise Ogawa in “Dear Miss Breed”, who learned to acclimate to a Japanese-American Internment camp. Louise Ogawa and Anne Frank were both showing a hopeful outlook on life. Both individuals demonstrate that being optimistic

A survivor’s eyes tell a story of regret and optimism. When someone has lived a full life, they tell a story of regret and optimism. They have lived through many stories of sadness, pain, hurt, fear, hope, and faith. Survivors have done things that they have regret, they have experienced things that will stick with them forever, and haunt them in their dreams. Survivors have lived through the worst but keep on pushing, because they know there is something better tomorrow. Optimism is what helps survivors survive. Optimism gets survivors through the times of regret, loss, sorrow, and fear. When one has optimism for the future it forces them to continue to survive, even when the pain, agony, and regret seem to
I believe that pursuing happiness as a goal has detrimental effects. As a society, we tend to believe that we need to be full of joy at all times, but that isn't realistic - life happens. By attempting to be cheery all the time, you will never be genuinely content. You will always be searching for more and won't be satisfied with what you have, creating a permanent cycle of gloom rather than bliss.
Some people attend parties, feasts, or even carnivals for Thanksgiving. On the other hand, I am kind of different. I love to spend time with my family making arts and crafts. My mom usually makes a feast at home and cooks my favorite Indian dishes. My parents, my sister and I find some type of entertainment to get our family to spend time together. I text my friends who are in different states and I spend some time with them on Facetime too.
A quote to describe that is, “He lay on his plank, daydreaming about the Olympics, holding them before himself as a shining promise, a future for which to endure an unbearable present.(pg.295)” That quote is describing how he imagines his future. Optimistic is when someone who is hopeful and confident about the future.
I have so many wonderful reasons to be thankful. Being thankful allows you to experience life to the fullest. I believe it is important to be thankful for my family and friends. Thankfulness allows you to appreciate what you have so you take care of your things. We should appreciate what we are given and use them with care. When you receive something new and valuable you should keep it in good condition and not let it be destroyed. We should all be thankful for everyday objects we use because many people around the world don't have the same privileges as us. It is also important to be polite to the people around us when we receive a gift from others by remembering to always say please and thank you. It is important to show you are thankful
Life is not about being born, go to school get a degree, amass wealth, get married, raise a family and die to be buried. There is more to life than just this process. Like Jeremiah, God told him that before you were formed, I knew you and before you came out of your mother’s womb, I sanctified you and ordained you a prophet. This supports the fact that, before you were born, a work has already been assigned to your name. To put it this way, every human embryo has a work assigned to it, to accomplish on earth so it doesn’t matter how the human embryo was formed or who carries it. The conception is the beginning of the fulfillment of purpose, so human abortion goes beyond just the killing of an embryo, but a termination of God’s purpose. The
Happiness is not feeling good all the time, having more money and affording everything you want, not a final destination. Then what actually is happiness?
In our life, there are periods of challenges that we must face, but the real challenge is how we grow and learn from overcoming them. Being naive children, we believed that life was simplistic and effortless. Well, we were wrong, we can only yearn for life to be easy. Growing up, we continue to face countless hurdles that only get bigger and bigger. My life, in particular, has been filled with numerous up and downs. It felt like I was in an endless roller coaster going up and down. Some believe that life is filled with obstacles and experiences that will help us pave the path to our own successes. But is that really accurate? There are some points in life when I’ve felt that I would never conquer a problem. From trying to learn to walk, to making big decisions that would affect the outcome of life. There are always complications and doubts that block our path. What job am I to choose? What university do I apply for? These thoughts will soon turn into a bitter reality. A reality that we will have to face. I would do anything to go back in time when I thought learning division was complicated as untying a series of knots. Sadly, this is the harsh reality, but even in this reality, we see even ourselves getting through a barrier. Life isn’t a game where you only have one try. Even when we stumble a thousand times, we can still manage to get back up, and it’s that thing about life that leaves me in awe. Life is a series of failures and lessons. Sometimes, even failures are
No one is born happy, but all of us are born with the ability to create happiness.
