A little while ago, I decided to clear out the clutter to get the house, and my mind, back in shape and feeling great for spring. I have to admit I had a lot of fun. I rolled up my sleeves, cocked my spray bottles and went in cleaners blazing, ready for whatever the walls and floors were set to throw at me (yes, very literally.) For starters, essential oils of any kind are not for ingestion. Use tea tree oil only as a topical treatment and keep away from eyes and deep wounds. When using as a topical treatment, be sure to test a small area of your skin with the oil first before using wide-spread applications. Certain skin types and very sensitive skin may possibly not do well with direct application of tea tree oil. If you know you have sensitive skin, try diluting the tea tree oil before using it directly on the affected area or omit the use of tea tree altogether.

I mix up a quick spray that you can use all over your home. The recipe is quite simple and you could really adapt it to your needs.*Tea-tree oil and water spray | 2-3 drops of tea-tree oil and a cup of water. And that’s it.
