DO ANGELS EVER SLEEP?
The basic answer is that they do not sleep because they do not have physical bodies that need rest like humans do. Since angels on and around Planet Earth are one of the ways Our Father extends His care to you humans, there is something important for you to understand about whether or not angels sleep.
HOLY SPIRIT: I (HS) have a question for you. Based upon your understanding of the Scriptures, does Our Father ever sleep?
ME: I am glad that every time I communicate with You (HS) or have a conversation with You (HS) that you are wide-awake.
Our Father never slumbers or sleeps. I know the word slumber means to be drowsy. Therefore, this verse means that Our Father never becomes sleepy or even takes a nap now and then.
Holy Spirit, I have a question for you. Why did You (HS) have it written in the Bible that after six days of creating, Our Father rested for one day, the

Therefore, there are times when you humans are awake, and if you do not get proper rest; sometimes you are not wide-awake when you are awake. The contrast is that Our Father is totally awake at all times.
ME: Holy Spirit, I have a question about the angels. I know that the angels are one of the ways Our Father extends His care to us. And since the angels are spirit light beings and do not have physical bodies, my question is, when Angels become tired or wounded (I have shared about wounded angels in one of our reports with scriptural reference) do angels rest or sleep?
HOLY SPIRIT: No, they neither slumber nor sleep because they do not have physical bodies. The wounded angels do praise and worship that results in the energizing of their spirit light beings.
ME: Holy Spirit, if one of my Guardian Angels were wounded in spiritual battle against demon angels do I have only three Guardian Angels for
This results in his health dwindling due to that lack of sleep. He works day and night prepping for different events that will occur. “I saw my father only on Shabbat. He was gone in the mornings when I woke and he returned at night when I was asleep. He was filled with fiery excitement, but it was clear he was wearing himself out” (Page 236).
His memories of war will haunt him forever. Another example of this can be seen when Ishmael is at the UNICEF rehabilitation center. Ishmael is able to sleep without the use drugs now, but does not stay asleep. He dreams of the man who almost slit his throat. He wakes up, sweating and punching the air, and runs outside.
The flock has always had courage. Especially when it comes to saving family. When angel had been abducted by the flock, the flock had still decided that they needed to go to save Angel, even though they knew it would be an unfair fight for them. "You know we have to go after Angel. You can't be thinking that we would just let them take her.
The word sleep means that he sleeps right through the day to past time. The word christmas means that the holiday we mostly all celebrate is not really celebrated by him. The word alone means that he is lonely most of the time. The quote means that he doesn’t care about his surroundings and the bed in his shell to sleep is more important than a traditional family holiday.
In many places, the rulers have to handle almost every problem. The king is merely wondering why he’s the only one that can’t sleep. With the diction, we know how he is both distressed and angered by this. Even saying “O sleep! O gentle sleep!”, the king is almost groveling at it.
Quotation and speaker, First witch: Sleep shall neither night nor day. (1.3.19) b. Paraphrase and clarification: I will curse you with no sleep during the night and day. I believe the witch has put a curse on him that will not allow him to get a bit of sleep either night nor day. The agony of insomnia will eat away at him. c. Conclusions: First quote, no comparison yet.
You see this in the novel when he touches on a little bit of life after the UNICEF saved him. “I was afraid to fall asleep, but staying awake also brought back painful memories”( Beah 19). Through this quote you are able to see just how painful and dramatizing his kid soldier experience was that he could go to sleep but he didn 't want to stay awake. Another way you see this in the novel is when Ishmael is talking to Esther and looking at the sky and the moon. “ when i was a child, my grandmother olds me that the sky speaks to those who look and listen to it….that night i wanted the sky to talk to me”(Beah 166).
The sleeping aspect consists of realizing that he is not alone in this world, reuniting with Lou, and regaining hope that his mother may still come. The nightmare aspect consists of horrible heartbreak and remaining forever unforgiven. Facing reality, dealing out apologies, and having hope is what allows Kek to truly sleep. In part three we see him avoid all of these features with the fear of encountering a nightmare. Lou and Ganwar are in the same place as Kek, they’re all in it together, but it is hard for one to realize this.
The author titled this “Fallen Angels” because it showed that people were fighting for a cause, but at the same time killing and dying from this war. Angels usually are following a task and are on a mission of some sort. In the Bible they're often referenced as messengers, warriors, or servants of God . In the book Fallen Angels, the soldiers were called, “angel warriors.” Angel warriors were young men who fought in war.
He cowers in the folds of my presence. He is like I was. So be it. I send him nightmares, something he can't be protected from. He tosses and turns in his bed, occasionally waking up in a cold sweat.
Following his lengthy nap, he said he had felt as if he was
The sin these people committed, goes beyond, what must sinners do, as they chose not to choose a path. They lived their lives apathetically, and neutrally, having no courage to commit to a path, they were the cowards who stayed at home rather than fighting in a war. These people and angels serve as a symbol for cowardice, and lack of commitment. They abandoned everyone in their lives, and so now they have abandoned in their afterlife. These sinners have "no hope in death" and their entire suffering is based on the fact that this is their suffering, they will never move on or advance in hell.
Darl is saying that he is because he can “empty himself for sleep” but that Addie is not because she is asleep. Darl also says, "When you are filled with sleep, you never were" (80). This could mean that after you die, it is as if you never existed at all. After a lot of thinking, Darl comes to the conclusion that he does exist, at least at that moment in time, because, "I could not empty myself for sleep in a strange room. And so if I am not emptied yet, I am is" (81).
The ancient Egyptians viewed dreams as a realm where they could directly communicate with the gods. There were three main gods that were worshiped for sleep: Tithoes, Bes, and Neith-Athena. Tithoes appears to have been a popular god, worshipped by ordinary people. He has an apotropaic character and is linked to the warrior Bes and to Neith-Athena. Just like these two gods, he was considered to protect believers from all danger whilst they were asleep.
He described them as far below God but high above man that are purely spirit and have the intellect of will. This means to me that they have no physical body and they can make their own choice to be with God or turn away from him. I can apply this knowledge of what Venerable Sheen thinks about angles to our many discussions on matter, form, sustenance, and accidents. From what Sheen said, I know that angels can’t have any matter or a form. This idea truly stands out to me because I have always thought of angels as flying babies that play harps but now I know that is definitely not the case.
