Perfusion : Perfusion is the process of a body delivering blood to a capillary bed in itsbiological tissue. The word is derived from the French verb "perfuser" meaning to "pour over or through". Tests verifying that adequate perfusion exists are a part of a patient's assessment process that are performed by medical or emergency personnel. The most common methods include evaluating a body's skin color, temperature, condition and capillary refill. Perfusionists employ artificial blood pumps to propel open-heart surgery patients' blood through their body tissue, replacing the function of the heart while the cardiac surgeon operates.

During percussion, the nurse strikes the chest to determine the condition of the underlying tissues. The nurse percusses the lobes of the lungs and over the heart to detect any abnormalities. During auscultation, the nurse places her stethoscope over the lungs and heart to detect abnormal breath sound e.g. stridor, rales, rhonchi etc. Assessment of the respiratory system will enable the nurse to detect the respiratory problems and to make good diagnosis for the patients.
Fetal circulation In the fetus, the lungs are collapsed and fluid-filled. Therefore, there is high resistance to blood flow. The placenta will act as a fetal lung and it provides oxygen for the fetus, delivers nutrients and removes wastes. The fetus is connected to the placenta by the umbilical cord. The oxygenated blood comes from placenta to the fetus through umbilical vein to the fetus’s liver.
How does blood type affect pregnancy? It’s important for women to find out their blood type at the start of their pregnancy. Blood will be taken to find out, and there are four different types: A, B, AB and O. In addition to blood type, women can have Rh factor (specifically Rhesus D antigen), which is when proteins appear on the surface of the blood. Women who do have Rh factor are classified as Rh positive (A+, B+, AB+ and O+) and women who don’t are Rh negative (A-, B-, AB- and O).
The most common method in chromosomal analysis is karyotyping analysis. The procedure for the karyotyping analysis form aminocenetsis fluid will be take amniotic fluid cells and culture this with media and then harvested them and make slides and then karyotype these slides. The chromosome analysis after ultrasonography is associated with chromosome abnormalities, karyotyping of either amniotic fluid cells or fetal blood cells obtained by cordocenetsis may be performed after ultrasonographic detection of an abnormality. The mostly chromosome abnormalities have been found because of cystic hygroma, limb abnormalities, omphalocele, duodenal stenosis, hydrocephalus and malformations of the face.
Radiation therapy is not necessarily better than chemotherapy or surgery, as it has both benefits and risks. Instead, choosing the right treatment depends on the case of each individual patient. Chemotherapy, which utilizes drugs delivered to the entire body, prevents the cancer cells from spreading. On the other hand, surgery and radiation therapy target one specific area. Often times, patients will undergo chemotherapy or radiation therapy to shrink the tumor before getting surgery to remove it entirely.

It can be detected by most pregnancy tests. hCG interrupts the normal menstrual cycle and allows pregnancy to continue. [Hint: Among other pregnancy tests, hCG is commonly called as pregnancy hormone and its detection is common way to confirm pregnancy. In just 8 to 9 days after fertilization, doctors can confirm pregnancy by finding hCG in blood and urine. Some home pregnancy tests are available which check for hCG in urine.
The most common way to help is a bone marrow transplant also known as the stem cell transplant. You would usually want a matched donor for this transplant. This transplant is usually reserved for people sixteen or younger. The risk for the surgery increase with people over the age of sixteen. Also finding a donor is extremely difficult, and you can risk death by doing the surgery.
