When you abide in righteousness the devil can try as much as he could to attack you, but he will always fail to overcome you. The Lord rewards a righteous life with many blessings. Your victory against the devil is your life of holiness. The Lord will not protect you because you are a pastor or prophet, His protection rests on those who love righteousness and hate sin. The devil will attack the pastor the same way he attacks anyone. Truly, anyone who plays with sin plays with fire. “We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the One who is born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him”(1John 5:18).

Ask the Lord to give you a new heart or spirit that gravitates toward heaven. To please God is to do what is right no matter what the situation dictates. You must be able to walk in the path of righteousness when you are unemployed or walking in the path of barrenness. It does not matter whether you are unemployed and looking for a job, you must always remain faithful to the word of God. Fornication is a sin that God hates so passionately. Fornication is a sexual relationship between two unmarried people, a man and a woman. Anyone who fornicates defiles himself with unrighteousness. “Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body”
(1 Corinthians 6:13, 18, KJV). Fornication is one of the reasons many people do not receive their blessings from the Lord. Many people do not know this reality, and those who are aware of it refuse to listen to the counsel of the word of God, which instructs them to shy away from all forms of unrighteousness. Those who are born again have been born by a righteous Father, who expects them to abide in His righteousness. Fornication and any sexual sins belong to the world. They are the sins of those who are still slaves to the devil. Let no one who is called by the name of the Lord be involved in any unrighteousness
