Sports development now has become the main concern to all government levels globally as they attempt high levels of involvement for their respective nations and elite level of sports success. Sports development has now becoming standardised as part of the sports ruling bodies business, where sports development has become fixed in the governing bodies anatomy and operations. An evidence to this is that nowadays sports development has been used as an increasingly practical career for a person throughout the sports industry.(green ref) Due to this, scholars can now attempt to understand the similarities and differences between the systems of sports development and the processes.

Governments participated in sports developments so as to promote a reputation of a group. Another reason to this is to urge an awareness of identity, belonging and collaboration. Sports can be regarded as diplomatic tools of public delicacy to impact someone’s opinion. An example is the football passion where it is shared by all nations and this helps to understand the difficulty of the world with its opposition nations. Labour government has made their progress to elevate sport’s importance and profile within the government. This Labour has assigned some factors of demanding sports development-related targets that they are supposed to meet.
