Sport for toddlers - a fad or a necessity?
I often hear that parents enrolled very young children of sports activities. Sometimes it comes to babies younger than 6 months. On the other hand, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine warns of the constant increase in sports injuries of the knee and the elbow in children. Their general attitude is that children are starting with sports too early!
When parents ask themselves what is best for their toddlers, I believe that the solution in common sense!

Fear of water is acquired fear and it is the most intensive at the age of two.
Some children that age scream at the mention of the shower, and bathing is like a nightmare (about overcoming groundless crying I already wrote). Because this reasons parents early take their babies at swimming. It has been shown that babies who love the water feel relaxed during swimming and the after. It is important to bear in mind that the water temperature in the pool should be warmer than in pool for adults because babies don't move enough so care should be taken to avoid hypothermia. Staying in the water contributes to the development of all muscle groups, not burden the joints, and when children overcome the fear of water can enjoy discovering the possibilities of moving the body through the water. The most important thing is that the child should not be left without adults supervision for a second! That way, swimming may be the great way for family relaxation.

High School Sports Should be Funded Every year 300,000 students are participating in sports (Gould 1). The School District has been funding the athletics program, which has been benefiting many of the students’ lives for several years. The discontinuation of high school sports will cause many students to loose the health, social and educational benefits provided by participating in athletics. The School District should continue to fund sports because they benefit students.

Most sports are team sports that also teach your child teamwork. Playing youth sports is a terrific experience for you or your child. There are many reasons why I feel that children should play youth sports.
There are many sports that are too dangerous for children because they aren't fully developed yet and they have a high chance of being severely injured. More than 448,000 football-related injuries to youths under 15 are annually treated in hospitals, doctors' offices, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers and emergency rooms, according to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons One reason football is too dangerous for children to play is because of chronic traumatic encephalopathy, otherwise known as CTE. It is a deadly brain disease that can develop from the repetitive hits and tackles young football players experience. Many parents start their children out at a very young age. However, because younger football players' brains and bodies are not fully developed, they are more vulnerable to injuries, mainly to their brains.
Youth Sports Are Too Intense “In the United States, about 20 million children and teens participate in some form of organized sports, more than 3.5 million children ages 14 and younger get hurt annually playing sports or participating in recreational activities” (Lucile Parkland Children’s Hospital). Children and their parents are sacraficing much of their time and money with youth sports. With kids starting at such a young age playing such intense sports it is increasing the amount of injuries that occur at younger ages. With the intensity increasing, children’s time is decreasing. These children have no more time for themselves or with their families.
But, according to , kids are now being thought new and enhanced techniques of playing the sport. The chances of injuries and concussions are rapidly decreasing. Therefore, kids should be allowed to play the sport. Moreover, it has been proven through many studies that active kids do better in school.
Health and contact sports are something parents worry about as over 500 deaths in the past 3 years from contact sports alone are making parents stand out against these sports and if the government doesn 't do anything about it the number of 7% overall contact sports drop will just keep getting lower and lower each time. Dr. William Speight also had this to say “Many other kids have suffered paralyzing spinal injuries”(Pennington). Kids being paralyzed is the fear for many athletes these days and the number f kids getting paralyzed has increases 2% which is equivalent to about 8,000 kids each year which is crazy to think about kids can 't play sports for the rest of thrie and maybe not be able to live their life because of it so next you hear mom or dad i wanna play sports your answer should be a simple NO. Kids under 10 need to stop playing contact sports because 45% of kids under 10 getting hurt are from contact sports and 5% of the time its ending that kids chances to play sports in the feature, Not to mention contact sports can also make kids go to their fullest and being burned out and although contact provide some kids will useful tools in life most of the time there is more negative than positive. Health, Age, Contact, parents, are some of the many reasons contact sports can be very dangerous for the youth.
Dr. Frank L. Smoll states, “All children and youth need vigorous physical activity as part of their daily lives, and sports provide the benefits of exercise and the potential for acquiring a sense of accomplishment.” (Smoll 1/2).
Frequently parents push their child into sports to keep what they perceive as the “American Dream” of an intact family alive: A Happily married family, with smart children and who succeed in sports. Studies have shown the fundamentals of youth sports are supposed to provide kids with fun, keep a child focused and fuel the basic. The fun aspect of the fundamentals are: decreasing injuries, increasing enthusiasm and eagerness, and prolonging the involvement in sports. The focus aspect of the fundamentals are: exercising, making new friends, learning sportsmanship, and developing social and sports skills.
Ever wondered why children are so sure about what they want to busy themselves with? When it comes to outdoor sports, most kids have particular likes and dislikes which come very naturally to them. As parents, it’s up to you to nurture their talents or suggest suitable alternatives. But the general thumb rule is, let the child play as many games as he wants to before zeroing in on a few favourites. Only then can you go ahead with providing formal coaching to them in those sports.
To most kids and students, competitive sports are a gateway to blow off some steam or to have fun. To parents, the sports that their children play and the lessons that they teach are an important part of their development and life. Despite what many ‘experts’ would like you to believe, both of these statements are completely true. I believe that kids should be allowed to play competitive sports due to the health benefits, the lessons that they can teach, and as a result of the advanced equipment and rules that are focused on making sports safe, as well as the fact that sports can keep kids out of trouble. These statistics can bring chills down one’s spine. With drowning being such a threat, it is surprising how many guardians of young children dismiss the importance of their child learning how to swim. Survival swim lessons gives infants and toddlers the skills they need to move through the water independently while incorporating being able to breath when needed.
The first reason that kids should participate in competitive sports is that sports teach kids valuable morals. By learning these morals and life lessons from an early age, they are more likely to start using them in the future

Sports can make kids the next David Wright, the next LeBron James, the next Eli Manning, or the next Lionel Messi. The best part of sports is that you're improving your physical health, psychological health, social skills, and academic benefits. Physical and phychological health can benefit a child in many ways.
