Sport for toddlers - a fad or a necessity?

I often hear that parents enrolled very young children of sports activities. Sometimes it comes to babies younger than 6 months. On the other hand, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine warns of the constant increase in sports injuries of the knee and the elbow in children. Their general attitude is that children are starting with sports too early!
When parents ask themselves what is best for their toddlers, I believe that the solution in common sense!

Fear of water is acquired fear and it is the most intensive at the age of two.
Some children that age scream at the mention of the shower, and bathing is like a nightmare (about overcoming groundless crying I already wrote). Because this reasons parents early take their babies at swimming. It has been shown that babies who love the water feel relaxed during swimming and the after. It is important to bear in mind that the water temperature in the pool should be warmer than in pool for adults because babies don't move enough so care should be taken to avoid hypothermia. Staying in the water contributes to the development of all muscle groups, not burden the joints, and when children overcome the fear of water can enjoy discovering the possibilities of moving the body through the water. The most important thing is that the child should not be left without adults supervision for a second! That way, swimming may be the great way for family relaxation.
