Sports 1990 Have you ever wondered how sports have gotten popular over the years? Sports have become popular over the 100 years, like MLB- Major League Baseball, NBA- National Basketball Association, and NFL - National Football League. At least that’s what I think. Sports in the 1900’s have became popular over the years. In the next few pages I will tell you how. First let's talk about Basketball. Basketball was invented in 1946. It is currently the most popular sports. It impacts society by becoming the most popular sport. Also by being a large influence. Basketball is also known as the NBA. National Basketball Association. The first NBA Finals, was, Philadelphia Warriors Vs. Chicago Sags The Warriors won the series 4-1. In 1947.
