And also have an assistant help them be a worker in the shop by helping them step by step in the activity. Giving them space and free will to explore is also important to me. I feel giving them space helps them adapt to the environment just as well as children without disabilities.

Lesson Extensions
I can explain that this activity can be done more than just with strawberries in a strawberry shop. The children can talk about what they might sell at different times of the year. This can lead to a discussion of what kinds of food grow at different times of the year. The children may want to start their own little farm in an outside area if there is an area for it. To explore more of the fruit, a field trip can be planned to a strawberry farm where the children can learn more about the fruit and it’s growing process. This could be a stem of a bigger lesson on shop owning/running, currency, or farming in
