INTRODUCTION:- Carbon fibre reinforced polymer:- Fibre-reinforced polymer is also called as Fibre-reinforced plastic. It is a material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibres. The fibres may also be the glass, carbon and although other fibres such as paper or wood or asbestos are used. When considering only energy and material resources it appears, on the surface, the argument for carbon fibre reinforced polymer composites in a sustainable build environment is questionable. However, such a conclusion needs to be evaluated in terms of potential advantages present in use of carbon fibre reinforced polymer composites related to consideration such …show more content…

Stainless Steel As per automotive industry the stainless steel is the metal which is used widely in the manufacturing of the cars in automotive industry. In 1957 the Cadillac Eldorado is the first one to be demonstration of a stainless steel roof. Advantages of stainless steel 1:- Corrosion Resistance The stainless steel has a high resistance to corrosion and which is equal to Aluminium. It is low alloyed grades can resists corrosion in most acids. 2:- Strength As the strength is a very important property needed for the automotive industry. The stainless steel has the high strength which is less than the aluminium. 3:- Life cycle characteristics Stainless steel is durable metal which is a low maintenance. 4:- Cost The stainless steel is low cost than the aluminium and it is the cheapest metal compared to any other metal used in the process of making the car body in the automotive …show more content…

Higher farmability is due to water pressure holding material to punch in the forming process, protecting the panel from over thinning at some key areas. SHEET HYDROFORMING TOOL The upper punch has the shape of the part machined into it. The punch is surrounded by the upper binder that provides holding force to the blank. The water chamber acts as the lower binder surface that hold the blank and the chamber to provide counter hydraulic pressure to the water. The punch combination attached to a side and a separate hydraulic cylinders are provided to the blank holder. The force of the blank holder is controlled by the hydraulic circuit and system, which is programmable logic control. The pressure is monitored by the programmable logic control.
