I still remember it was the summer of 2017 near august that day the whole family got together for my little cousin birthday. I was sitting in the couch and my uncle started talking and telling me if I wanted a quince and the people who will help out with the cake and the dress and the decorations the most special thing is of course the place you will be having it
I make every attempt I can to spend time with my cousins, even though we all have crazy schedules. I have weekly hang-out times with my friend of nearly 14 years. I chose to come to UAH to be closer to my family, since my parents and I moved north when I was young. All of these habits that I partake in are because I find comfort, and therefore happiness, in being around these people. These people know me in a way that others will never know me; they have watched me grow and struggle into the person I am today, and they will continue to watch me grow as a human.
I watched the movie with my friend Malik over spring break i would rate this film a 4 simply because i found the movie impact and interesting to my viewpoints and i became knowledgeable about racial issues. I would recommend the film to others and i already have recommended to a few students even discussing this with my mother who couldn 't recall if she had seen the
Everyone loved his speeches and said that maybe he should write a book but he said that it was his was his wife who encouraged him to write. Over the years, Nando went back up to the crash site to visit his mother and sister graves. His dad tries to go there at least once every year and visit the graves as
He would go to parties and drink and take so many pictures with all of his so called new friends. He did this every weekend now and once decided to share these pictures on Facebook just to show everyone how much fun he has with all of his classmates. Once senior year came rolling around, he became eligible for a full ride scholarship for baseball to his dream school since the seventh grade. However, it was all taken away from him in a blink of an eye because of one picture with him and his best friends holding a couple of beer bottles. Small things like this can harm a person at any moment, which is further described in one of Robert Louis Stevenson's many short stories.
The polar express has been a loved movie by my family since I can remember. Around the holidays we would always sit down as a family with popcorn and hot chocolate and enjoy watching the truly classic christmas movie. It was 2010, just around the holidays, when my parents thought it would be fun to take me and my brother to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad to ride The Polar Express Train. Little did we know it would turn into the adventure it was. I was in Mrs. Hester’s fourth grade class when the office called saying I was being checked out.
Every year on the same day, everyone has a way to spend time in addition to honoring their veterans. My family spends time together and honor our veteran. My parents would always buy me cake and invite my family members who live in Idaho. I would always have a great time with them as we eat cake and open presents. When I spend time with my family and having fun, I think of how lucky I am to have my Grandpa.
When I was little, my favorite book was The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Every night I would have my parents read it before I went to bed. I loved everything about it from the storyline, to the characters, to the ending. But as I read it again when I’m older, I realize many different things that I had not noticed when I was a
Since I was seven my parents would drive me to Ivoryton, Connecticut each summer. Each year I would see new and old faces. Once we had all settled into our designated tents for either two, four, six or eight weeks we walk around to meet the new campers. All I could hear was laughter and yelling in that moment. Everyone seemed so happy to finally see their friends again after another one hundred eighty days of school.
I was so excited the night before it was the same kind of excitement i has as a kid on birthdays and christmas. I remembered trying to go to sleep all night and wake up just to see that it was only in the wee hours of the morning.I remember how i found out i was going i was sitting in the car on my way back from justin all star football game when his mom asked me what i was doing for the super bowl i told her that everybody was going to my aunt 's house but i wasn 't because me and my cousin always seemed to argue. I went on and on about it for 30 minutes before she engaged herself in the conversation. Miss Angie and i was so close that there was times when she would go out her way to involve me in stuff that her and her son did.I use to always ask her why she did so much and she told me it was because I was respectful and went out my way for her . As she began to ask question she first asked if i saw the heat beat the cavs last night, she was huge miami heat fan one of the reasons being that she had the biggest crush on their starting point guard Mario chalmers.
Story time was always something to look forward to when going over to my grandparents house. Every time my younger brother and I visited my grandparents, we were in for a treat as my grandpa told us stories of his time during WW2, and even going back further to the Enlightenment Period, the crusades, explorations, etc. “I wonder what grandpa is going to tell us today.” Joshua, my younger brother said- anticipation embedded on his face. After a couple of minutes driving we reached our destination - a brightly yellow painted house, with a big front yard that houses so many family of flowers, and a flag pole with the flag of the United States proudly sailing in the air. Entering my grandparents house made my brother and I even more anxious,
All my life I had dreamed of following in my mother 's footsteps and becoming a UConn Huskie. I had watched every UConn sporting event with my parents for as long as I can remember. I 've acquired many autographs of players over the years and even obtained a basketball signed by Jim Calhoun. I remember the devastation I felt when I learned the major I was pursuing was not offered at UConn. I had graduated high school convinced I was going to be an accomplished architect.
