Have you ever watched a Star Wars movie? Well, I am going to be discussing the seventh one, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It is a film I watched of December 2015, at the cinema AMC. I enjoyed other Star Wars motion pictures, so I decided to watch this one. I have only watched it one time, but it was as cool as a cucumber. A quote from the movie is,”Okay. How do we blow it up? There’s always a way to do that.” First of all, the genre of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is a PG-13 live action sci-fi movie, and its director was JJ Abrams. A couple of actors and actresses are Daisy Ridley as Rey, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, John Boyega as Finn, and Adam Driver as Kylo Ren. There are numerous settings, including the Planets Hoth and Tatooine, even
Return of the Jedi is set on the forested moon of Endor. Of these three Outer Rim planets and moon, all the scenes were shot in real-life places and not studio sets. Director George Lucas utilized the diverse geography of planet Earth to turn the science fiction galaxy to life. The arid Tunisia, woodland Del Norte County of California, and snowy Norway have all been immortalized as Endor, Tatooine, and Hoth. The complexity and outer-worldly composition of the Star Wars films was masterfully filmed utilizing the diverse regions of Earth.
Star Wars is an epic space opera film series created by George Lucas, which includes galactic battles, theatrical adventure, as well as chivalric romance. The music, mainly composed by John Williams, gives depth to the storyline and is something that fans of all ages will always remember. The specific Star Wars movie that I have chosen to analyze is Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, which was released on May 25, 1983.
The character, Luke Skywalker, in the film, “Star Wars: A New Hope,” clearly represents the Medieval Hero characteristics. Luke is a good moral character, he follows the code of chivalry, and he does not have a royal birth. The first piece of evidence is Luke follows the codes of chivalry. For example, he serves the liege/lord, which is Princess Leia, in valour and faith. He courageous followed the orders of Princess Leia.
May 25, 1977 the release of Star Wars: A New Hope, just another Sci-Fi movie that was set for failure. Little did the movie industry know , this franchise would be one of the most successful in movie history. Lets not forget the cultural appeal Star Wars would make and is continuing to do so. Star Wars has a found its place in society and is now an established staple film that everyone knows about. With its famous saying “May the force be with you” it is hard not to know where that saying is from.
What was his/her childhood like? Luke Skywalker Luke Skywalker spent his first 19 years of his life on a moisture farm on Tatooine , where his uncle tried unsuccessfully to stop young Lukes adventurous streak “You can keep him here,he 's to much like his father”. As a teenager, Skywalker dreamed of adventures beyond Tatooine and clashed with his uncle over his desires to fly among the stars to distant worlds. Luke Skywalker possessed talents in droid repair, piloting, and the Force, making him very much his father 's son. He had dreams of joining the Imperial Academy to fight the evil empire and becoming a pilot.
Once the hero has received his Call to adventure, like George Lucas’s Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, they must go on to face their first challenge, the threshold guardians, which ultimately challenge their will to take on the burden of the task. For young master Skywalker, the threshold guardians come with guns. Shortly after young Skywalker receives his call to adventure, from R2-D2, the little droid disappears. When Luke finally locates R2, a group of warriors called Tusken Raiders strike at Skywalker, knocking him out. The sand savages scavenge through Luke’s vehicle, until Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives scaring off the savages, saving Luke.
The Rated R drama/adventure film directed by Alejandro Iñàrritu and produced by the following companies: Regency Enterprises, RatPac Entertainment, and New Regency Pictures. The two minute and twenty-five second film illustrates the fact that every individual needs to survive on their own and trust no one. The trailer is composed of important scenes and the viewer gets a short understanding of the tone and color. The Revenant is not a comedy film, so don’t expect to laugh. John Fitzgerald starring Mad Max leading character Tom Hardy introduces the character as the antagonist.
One boy with a dream that becomes a harsh reality? Everyone encounters dreams or goals in their life, but some never get to complete them. This young hero has a dream of being a pilot for the rebellion, but he gets more than he bargained for. This young hero is Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars series, the son of Darth Vader and the new hope of the rebel alliance. Throughout these movies Luke Skywalker demonstrates the “Hero’s Journey” clearly with a lot of detail.
In that past, women have had a false image of sexuality, weakness, and self- consciousness. Now, women in today’s culture have taken on a new role, a much stronger role. Countless movies and television shows have powerful and inspiring female roles who deviate from female characters in the past. For example, Rey, from “The Force Awakens” in the Star Wars franchise shows several traits of a strong, independent woman who is fully capable of getting every job done herself. Rey is the perfect illustration of being the opposite of what Jean Kilbourne said women are.
` In May of 1977, Star Wars: A New Hope was released with overwhelmingly positive reviews and marking a new era in cinema. The writer and director of the film, George Lucas, decided to expand upon the Star Wars universe in 1999 by making Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, with a story that took place before the original film’s story. This movie was made with advanced equipment and cutting-edge CGI (for 1999), nonetheless, the movie was panned by critics and enraged an entire generation of moviegoers. The answer to why this happened lies in the differences between the two films: use of special effects, construction of characters, and complexity of plot. “A special effect is a tool, a means of telling a story.
With over seven billion people on the planet, it is challenging to believe that I am unique. Rather, it 'd be egotistical to claim that I, and I alone, have this one distinctive, singular something to contribute to the Michigan State community. That said, however, I do believe that I have qualities that would further enrich and diversify Michigan State 's campus life. To take from the famous quote from "The Incredibles," if everybody is special, then, effectively, no one is. The question of what would "add to the overall richness of campus" life becomes complicated, considering that.

According to CinemaBlend, the “Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey” features revelations and behind the scenes of “Episode VII.”
While in both movies, Hunger Games and Divergent, share similar characteristics of a dystopian genre, they do not take on the same features as each other. This is usually because the structure is rigid and predictable although there can be certain differences. These differences and similarities could be their themes, setting or costumes that are used in the novel or film. In the Hunger Games and Divergent, the theme of rebellion is seen throughout the film.
I believe that there are several qualities to a great film. I believe the original Star Wars trilogy to be amazing films. They have captured the hearts of millions ever since their first release. These movies have always had a soft spot in my heart, as I grew up with them. They have amazing characters, character progression, and plot.
