There are certain classes I enjoy. When I entered the 11th grade, I took AP Physics 1 and believe or not, science became my favorite class. I am also currently taking AP Physics 2 for my senior year because I feel that this class really influenced me to get a better idea for my career in the future. Before high school, I had some sort of idea of what I wanted to be when I get older. I thought of being some type engineer and one that I would enjoy to do.
I have researched what kind engineering would best fit me, and I decided to become a mechanical engineer. Physics gave me the idea because I learn how the world works around us such as velocity and acceleration in unique ways. And I feel that with mechanical engineering, I learn how machines and other concepts work in the world.

Gleason, made the class understandable to me in a way that I also enjoy the content. I feel that with any struggle I come upon, I am sure that he will be able to help me so I can understand the problem the first time. This will allow me to soon learn furthermore about if I stumble upon the same situation such as on a test, I will be able to solve the problem the first
Going into my senior year of high school, I was forced to make some fairly large decisions about my future, as were most teens my age. Before making the decision to attend California University of Pennsylvania, I was looking into what career was best for me, and what I wanted to achieve in my educational career. This was a lengthy and difficult process, but in the end, it led me to the path I am traveling today as a student at California University of Pennsylvania. When it came to deciding what I wanted to major in, I was very unsure.
I like Math class because it's all makes sense to me and has things to back it up, while other classes sometimes just wiz right by me and I get confused. I do marching band and I play the trombone. My older brother is a senior and he is also in band and he plays the saxophone.
INTRODUCTION Some goals I have for this paper is for people to understand that people’s versions of things are not always going to be the what it is supposed to be and that people have opinions. Another goal is that people don’t judge this paper because it is not perfect, humans are not perfect. Lastly, my final goal for this paper is for it to be good enough for me to do more productive things. SURVEY RESULTS The basic survey results made a graph about what I am better at.
As a child I always desired to study math and science. There is just something about solving problems, and finding solutions that catches my attention. Learning about the world, and how it function is very interesting to me. These subjects have help keep me wondering what I could learn next, and the reason being that I am a scholar in my classes. One accomplishment that I am proud of is being on the A&B honor roll.
While still in high school, my favorite subjects were always creative or hands on. My favorite class was ceramics. I enjoyed it because it gave me an opprutunity to do something thoughtful,
MESA is an organization I wish to join because math and science are my favorite subjects. Learning is valuable to me and I try to promote creativity into my work. I am an efficient student and if I joined MESA, I would hugely benefit from it. A profession involving math and science is definitely something I aspire for in my future and MESA is a smart way to assist in reaching that goal. I perform well on my classwork, tests, and quizzes.
Growing up, the world of mathematics and science has always intrigued me. I have always preferred to calculate definite integrals rather than talk about the Gilded Age, and I will choose to read about NASA’s latest discoveries over Shakespearean sonnets any day of the week. I felt I could delve into the concepts of Calculus and Newtonian Physics more easily than Carnegie’s Gospel of Wealth and Shakespeare’s iambic pentameter. I saw myself devoted to the fields pertaining to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and aspired to pursue a career where I could apply my fascination into the field of engineering. When I walked into AP English Language & Composition at the start of my junior year, however, I realized my interests
Going to college has always been a dream of mine, I never knew what I wanted to major in or any clue of what career I wanted to go into. It all started with my love of finding out more about the world around me I thought is was just my curiosity like everyone else but it was something different. That’s when I found my love for science. At first I really didn’t see my love for until sophomore year of high school when we would get on a subject and wanted to learn more about the particular subject not just what was in the book. Around my junior year is the when I knew had to start narrowing down my college choices.
My future career choice is to become a certified diesel mechanic. I chose this career because ever since I was old enough to walk I have been working on vehicles with my dad and I really enjoy it. I listened to what he told me, I paid attention to the parts as well as the essentials, and I comprehended most of the things I did with him. This career interests me because automotive mechanics is completely different from diesel mechanics.
Ever since my grandmother died with lymphoma, I have been very interested in biology because I want to find a cure for cancer. Before going into biology, I did not think that biology involved math skills, however, it did not take me long to learn that it is very important to have a good understanding in math to do well in a science course. As I began to exceed in math, I began opening doors to other career options that involved math. Also math has influenced me to look at life from a different perspective, a more mathematical
I enjoy engineering, in fact when I get older I want to become a biomedical engineer. I want to be able to help people. As well as find solutions to help people in their everyday lives. So that hopefully it would make life easier and less stressful for them. I enjoy all the problem solving that comes with engineering.
You’ve gone to school with a particular career in mind, but even if you’re out of school and can’t find a job, which happens to a lot of college student, you have more
I am confident in my decision to study mechanical engineering. I plan on majoring in mechanical engineering because I love math, solving problems and being creative. I am currently taking an ap calculus class at school and attending Lapeer Education and Technology center for the second half of my day. I have been attending Lapeer ed-tech center for 2 years now where I study CAD mechanical design. I have learned parametric solid modeling, worked with 3D printers and am currently learning code for
This class was overall fun and informative. I am glad that I took this
It is important to study something in school that you enjoy but that is also useful in the real world. I have always been asked, “what's your major?”. I would answer art history and always got a response like, “what are you going to do with that?”. Most parents and students don’t feel that there is a good foundation from learning Art History. It is often heard from high school and college students (influenced by their parents) that to succeed you must major in science, technology, engineering, or business.
