I have an ambitious goal, but a necessary one. I am highly interested in attending the Pioneer Prep Leadership Institute for many different reasons, but one reason would be that it most definitely encompasses my passion for pursuing a higher education. I hope to gain an experience that allows me to make that leap out of my comfort zone. Programs such as this one are the most valuable and important way to advocate for constructing our path to college, confronting current issues that limit us from reaching beyond, integrating social awareness and so much more. There is a myriad of personal skills and abilities that I know I can strengthen or gain and this includes my self-identity, community, people skills, communication, critical thinking and
The first domain in the Florida Principals Leadership Standards, Student Achievement, is divided into two separate Standards. The first standard is about Student Learning Results and achieving previously set standards. Out of the many leadership styles that were discussed in class, I felt that the path-goal theory fit the purpose of this standard the best. The implementation of path Goal-theory begins by identifying the objectives to be reached as “The school 's learning goals are based on the state 's adopted student academic standards and the district 's adopted curricula” (“The Florida Principal,” n.d.). My job as a leader would then be to clear out any foreseeable, and unforeseen obstacles so that my pupils can achieve success as

I feel as though I could benefit National Honor Society through my leadership qualities, willingness to dedicate my time to the community, positive character, and perseverance to succeed in academics. While I may not hold many leadership positions at this time, I am able to step up and take charge in any necessary situations. Additionally, one can see that it is important that I take time out of my day to serve others as I devote two hours each weekend to volunteer. My academic standing is also of importance to me, believing that consistency in school is a crucial factor in achieving success. I challenge myself by choosing to take any honors or AP classes available and striving to put forth utmost effort in each class.
This program will allow me to learn about different aspects of the world and how someone like me can make a difference. I also hope to achieve an amazing educational experience and connect with new people. I wish to enroll in the Early College Program because I want to prove to myself the person I can grow to
The first of my short-term goals is to graduate high school as a participant in the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is a program high school students apply for and if they are accepted, gain multiple benefits from. Accepted students must have have high GPAs, multiple hours of community service, be considered strong leaders within their community and by their peers, and be of good character. It is my goal to become a member of this program because not only does it help with college applications, but it also challenges me to improve my strengths and weaknesses. More specifically, I’m wanting to it to push me to be more involved in the community resulting in improved leadership skills.
I know that all my efforts to maintain a good average and a good standing in High School will be fruitful if I am given the opportunity to participate in this organization that is made up of people that are determined, devoted, and above all aspire to help others. I am in band and I have proven that I am
I also believe that my time as a student ambassador on the LSUA campus and as a nursing student in clinical has allow me to gain the experience that I need in the leadership role. These are all qualities that I hope to bring with me if I am granted membership.
I aspire to be in the National Honors Junior Society program. I wish to be accepted and it is an honor just to be invited to such a program. I have been looking forward to this program and being accepted shows me that I have achieved my goals to be the best student I can be. It means a lot to me as a student and on a personal basis as well. The whitcomb middle school staff has always encouraged me to R.O.A.R.
Many posses the commitment to the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character, but how one uses them shows the core of their disposition. For each of these qualities, there are many traits, useful in a leader, and not. Since it is only my second year as a student at Carlsbad High School, there has not been much time of my being distracted from my school work as I try to be as diligent of a student as possible. However, from time to time, I take a break and do things for the community instead. The students that make up the National Honor Society are extremely dedicated in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character, and I would be very grateful to be a part of the standards.
I am a natural leader, and have gained leadership skills from the multiple extracurricular activities (such as Jazz Band, Gender Equality Club, Gay Straight Alliance, Model United Nations, and Craft Club) and used them to my advantage to help lead in everyday situations as well as being appointed or reconized as a leader officially. Notably, I am the lead alto saxophone in Jazz Band II and a student leader of the Gay Straight Alliance, and I am applying for more leadership positions for my Junior year; these future possible leadership positions include a position in Secretariat in Model United Nations, section leader in marching band and president in the Gay Straight Alliance, and I feel that I have a respectable chance in these imminent leadership positions. The quality of leadership is very paramount in the decision of whether to accept students into the National Honor Society, and I feel that I fulfill expectations and go beyond in this particular
To me, service, leadership, and character mean sacrificing your time in order to benefit others, expecting nothing in return. Often leaders are the ones who perform the unwanted tasks with no recognition, wanting only to help others by their actions, Leaders are often driven by their considerate character - exemplary moral qualities that they exhibit, such as patience and persistence, often inspire others around them to become leaders, too. I would like to be in National Honors Society to challenge myself to become more involved in the community. There are innumerable opportunities to benefit the Lansing area and the school, which I look forward to take part in. Additionally, I would like to be in National Honors Society to join a group in
Starting will scholarship, I have displayed this by maintaining the 93% grade average needed to get me to this point in this organization. I intend to keep my grades above that 93% and further my education in school and at home. While leadership is not always my best
Explain your interest in joining Phi Delta Epsilon-MA Alpha Chapter. * I want to join Phi Delta Epsilon because it would provide me the chance to build lifelong connections and gain networking opportunities. Most importantly, I see myself forming a bond with other members, studying and sharing memories of what it’s like to be a premedical student at UMass Boston. The ability to connect, strive for success and learning from others with the same goal to attend medical school is what I’m truly seeking as a hopeful applicant of PhiDE. Joining the fraternity is the beginning phase of my strenuous road to become a successful physician.
Leadership is an innovative process that aligns professionals with a goal, objective or vision statement. Leadership is defined as emerging and supporting a vision for instructing by learning and communicating a visional statement effectively. Leadership exemplifies the art of leading others to deliberately create a result. In leadership, leaders display themselves as a guiding tool for others in this case for teachers. In leadership, it is important that leaders coordinate the effective management of resources, namely time, material and people, to ensure that they are conveying an effective teaching and learning environment.
I have been invited twice for the Leadership Abroad program, but conflicts of interest kept me from going. I am as of 2015 a member of the National Society of High School scholars. I have taken advantage of KCC’s multiple classes and summer school to earn my ETT card and my OSHA 10 certification.
