STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
“KNOWLEDGE is power. INFORMATION is liberating. EDUCATION IS the premise of progress, in every society, in every family”.
-KOFI ANNAN
This is one of my best-cherished percept and the main impetus that induces me to scale greater heights in my endless interest for learning. The best guidance I ever got was that information is force and to continue perusing. It controls access to opportunity and progression. The learning increased through instruction empowers people's capability to be ideally used owing to preparing of the human personality. This opens entryways of chances empowers individual to attain to better prospects in profession development. The current progression in engineering has been upgraded to a great extent by education, as people have the capacity apply the skills acquired in real life leading to innovations.
Right from my educating days I used to have a longing to know how a little device can make our work simple. I generally attempt

My curiosity and expertise in getting practical knowledge and the passion of mine evoked me towards moving into Electronics stream in top most college of our state. The nature of not being persuaded by a fact or a statement unless and until I get to the crux of it has helped me attain a strong hold on the fundamentals in the core subjects like Electrical Technology, Electrical Circuit Analysis, Analog & Digital Communication, Digital Signal & Image Processing, Microprocessors and Controllers, VLSI Design. I have reliably been in the main 10% of students in class and have an aggregate of 8.11 CGPA in the previous two and half years of undergraduate studies. Now, on the verge of completion of my Undergraduate Studies, I realize that my present knowledge would not suffice. I feel that unless one is erudite in his/her field, one cannot be fully
Wallace states that it really means learning how to exercise some control over how and what you think. Wallace was basically saying yes it’s important to gain knowledge, but how you apply the knowledge is equally important. He also emphasizes how we miss certain valuable things that are right in front of us because we are looking at what we think is obvious. It’s almost like the old saying “you can’t see the forest for the trees.” I think sometimes we can become so educated that we are just dumb.
The former president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, once said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. To change the world people often use physical violence. However, even if they solve the problem, it is only for a short period of time. Using education, people can back up their statements and actions. In this quote, education can mean many different things, such as being intelligent, logical, having a strong mental, and being calm.
People are always focused on being the creator; they invent amazing innovations, but no one knows how to apply them. Rather than create an unusable, new technology, I’d like to focus on creating new purposes for the technology. Often the simplest solutions are the most brilliant. To think of the way to utilize and advance what is at hand is the challenge. My interest in technology was sparked by my own curiosity and fascination; since the 6th grade I would always check Yahoo News’s Science and Technology tab, taking my newfound knowledge of amazing new advancements and sharing it with my family at the dinner table.
Therefore, applying newer technologies in educational environments allows for the user to understand where they failed and can grow and learn to succeed in different ways. Newer technologies like the implementation of the iPod in the
Time teaches these lessons to people as they experience more interactions. This illustrates that intensive reading in order to gain depth of knowledge does not actually give anyone wisdom, but rather the tools necessary for experience which then creates
As a dreamer and queer woman of color, pursuing a career in STEM has been quite challenging. But I have never let anything get in the way of reaching my goals and dreams. I have swam against the current in order to be where I am today, where I have dreamt of being. I am currently a second year student at Trinity Washington University majoring in biochemistry and minoring in mathematics. I am a dedicated student and an analytical and skilled critical thinker who is eager to learn.
“Education is critical for breaking the cycle of poverty and yet over half of the world 's schools lack access to safe water and sanitation facilities” (the water project, a good education. pg2). This quote is so important because the only way to combat poverty is to have knowledge to do so. So without that power you can’t elevate and break the chain of hardship.
Is also a good way to educate ourselves and to inform ourselves about things
Making a Difference in My Community What are your long-term personal and education goals? How has knowledge or awareness of your own culture and other cultures affected your understanding of yourself? What key experiences with your own and/or other cultures influenced your goals and your interactions with others? Please provide specific examples.
Education is interconnected with every single strand of the economy, laws, jobs, research… I believe that education is not only one of the most important factors in a development of a country but instead, it has a greater significance than other factors. First and Foremost, Education is the foundation of our society. It gives us the power of knowledge and the power of assisting others. Nelson Mandela once said: “Education is the most powerful weapons which you can use to change the world – The Former
The more important the information the more likely the individual will be able to recall that information later. However, the meaning is placed on the information itself and not on how the information obtained, as with the behaviourist approach. Cognitive learning theories deal with the issue of how people process and store information to gain an understanding of themselves and the environment, and how their thinking and reasoning influence their actions and reactions (Henson and Eller,
Machines and gadgets are becoming an inseparable part of our lives. Technological development has enabled remarkable advancement, greater comfort, improved health, readily accessible information, rapid communication, and easy transport to virtually
Although it is important to learn new things, the new material learned is not as important as the process of learning itself. In the process of learning, one’s mind is transformed and engaged. They will be introduced to new things and their ideas and thinking will be changed forever. When learning new things, seeing the value of things become
Right from my childhood days, I was always eager to know how things work in surroundings. When I was given toys, I hardly played with them rather tried to dismantle it and try to know the mechanism running it. During school days, I have participated in many science exhibitions which further motivated me towards taking my knowledge and experience onto a higher and advanced level. With this desire and curiosity to understand machines and mechanisms, I chose to complete my graduation in Mechanical Engineering.
Malcolm X once said “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepared for it today.” In the western world education plays a vital role in shaping our future; it determines if we will survive or fail in the world we created for ourselves. Our world is constantly changing and it requires a society that is well versed in understanding the problems deriving from cultural differences and tolerance of one another’s beliefs and perceptions. With the power of education we are able to deal with the problems of economic, government, religion and culture differences.
