Literature is writing that express and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and universal interest. I think popular fiction is worthy of being called literature. We have read great literature written by Stephen King and Dr. Seuss for children. Popular fiction and serious fiction are both great literature and they don’t appeal to all readers. Nevertheless, both of them are considered literature.I believe there is not a cut and dry reason to why people like reading what they do. However, people that like reading popular fiction is mainly by choice it’s just what they like reading at that particular time.
