Research is the detail study of a specific problem, concern, or issue using scientific method. The research process model presented eight-step. These steps are important and crucial for every research in any case of the field and the topic. The tools and techniques used to carry out a research can be different, but every research follows the same steps, these are under below.
Step 1 formulating a research problem:
This step is very important step in research to general topic or problem has been identified, it is also called research problem that is, taken from just a statement about a problematic situation to a clearly defined researchable problem that identifies the issues that are trying to address. It is not always easy to formulate the

The construction of a research instrument is the first ‘practical’ step in carrying out a study. First it will need to decide how you are going to collect data for the proposed study and then construct a research instrument for data collection. There are various methods of data collection for qualitative and quantitative studies and the process of developing a research instrument. If the planning to collect data specifically for your study (primary data), it need either to construct a research instrument or to select one that has already been constructed. There are methods for collecting data using attitudinal scales. There are the concepts of validity and reliability in relation to a research instrument. If are using secondary data (information already collected for other purposes), it will be needed to identify what information is needed and then develop a form to extract the required data. In order to determine what information is required, it will need to go through the same process as for primary data, described above. Field testing (or pre-testing) a research tool is an integral part of instrument construction. As a rule, the pre-test of a research instrument should not be carried out on the sample of your study population but on a similar population which …show more content…
This overall plan, called a research proposal, it tells a reader about the research problem and how you are planning to investigate. Broadly, a research proposal’s main function is to detail the operational plan for obtaining answers to the research questions. In doing so it ensures, and reassures the readers of, the validity of the methodology to obtain answers accurately and objectively. Requirements may also vary within an institution, from discipline to discipline or from supervisor to supervisor. A research proposal must tell you and your research supervisor and a reviewer the following information about your study, what you are proposing to do how you plan to precede; why you selected the proposed
THE APOCALYPSE One night the news broadcasted an important message about something was happening with the nuclear power plant. They advised everybody to stay inside and lock all the doors. No one knew what was happening. But then then they said the people were going crazy and attacking people, so there were 3 friends john, snake, and bill they fortified their house and waited for something to happen.
Hello, I am Ryan Judge, and I have developed (with a group) a 6-week program to train a client for a 5k. A 5k is 3.1 miles, so it is an endurance run, something that is not meant to be done fast. In this essay, I am going to tell you about the fashion of our training program, and why me made it the way it is. The client that we made our 6-week training program for is a 13 year-old girl with no medical history.
n research methods, every researcher uses a procedure or a means of measurement to collect data. For example, three types of basic measurement collection are self-reports, observational, and physiological. Each method has their pros and cons in research. Depending on the research you are conducting these methods of measurement can either guide you to great discovery the pro, or skew your data making it unreliable the con. Observational measure is the method of measuring behaviors by directly observing subjects (Leary, M. R. (2011).
One is to “articulate the research problem and objectives”. Two is to “develop the overall research plan”. Three is to “collect the data or information”. Four is to “analyze the data or information”. Five is to “present or disseminate the findings”.
The following PhD proposal consists of seven main sections, which are: the background of the study, the statement of the problem, the purpose of the study, and the research questions guiding my study. Then the definition of the terms will proceed, where the workable definitions for my study will be identified; the sixth section will comprise the description of my research methodology, and it will be followed by the estimation of possible limitations of my research. Background of the study This sections includes brief explanation of the prerequisites which urged me to explore my topic, and the brief literature review, partially adapted from my Master's thesis.
Evidence based practice is a big part of the medical field and what we as nurses use to take care of patients in the hospital. An example would be the sterilization technique of catheterization and the importance of pericare before inserting a catheter into a patient. Sterilization technique ensures that there is no introduction of bacterial agents that may cause serious infectious such as sepsis, and death. Even if a nurse is using the best devices, it does not matter without proper sanitary care (The Fight Against UTIs Continues, 2011). Pericare is an essential component of caring for a patient with a catheter.
Essay #1 Initiative Process The initiative process for the state of California has positive aspects as well as its less favorable aspects. The process originates from an issue that triggers a need for a huge change in the lives of many people. The development is a quick process; however, it narrows down to the energy of getting valid petition signatures for a single issue. A strong will of determination from the idea holder and a nice portion of funds as to how they intend to construct the material in such a way to get the initiative in motion to become successful whether it is for or against something.
What is Research? It is a careful investigation of a problem in a scientific manner, especially to search for new facts in any side of knowledge. And it is searching for theory or opinion for testing them or for solving issues. And a scientific way for answering questions and testing hypotheses.
In addition, the biggest issue was trying to figure out what will work and what will not. Covering all this information in six weeks is a challenge, however, if each step is followed each week then it makes the process easier. If the steps are not followed, then the research proposal might not work because there is a process and for each step in the research process guidelines are put in place so that the correct decisions can be made for doing a research proposal. Furthermore, there are guidelines for data collection, data measurement, and levels of measurement to name a few examples. For my proposal the mixed method is being used and this does fit for the topic and the research might provide additional information when the research is
3- Methodology, which includes sampling design, research design, collecting information, information analysis and limitations. 4- Findings, which includes conclusions and recommendations
Initially, l clearly defined my goals and objectives of the data collection to ensure the data gathered will be accurate, credible, can be repeated, reproduce able. Then reach an understanding and agreement on the operational definitions and methodology for data collection. As a student there is often a marked divide in my mind between using a qualitative or quantitative approaches. 8.2 Social Concept: Socially, data gathered about a phenomena contain real information and it is useful to the improvement efforts in the society. Good data collection planning prevents errors that commonly occur in data collection process, it saves time and money that otherwise might have been spent on repeated or failed attempts to collect useful data.
Analyze the problem. iii. Refine the problem. • Utilize these three steps as you define the researchable questions. III.
My Practice Currently, a substitute teacher I teach five to thirteen year old students with and without special educational needs. I take on many different roles while substitute teaching and enjoy discovering, investigating and reflecting upon these vastly different classrooms and schools. This essay will explore a mixture of learning theories used in diverse contexts which are perceived as precursors or complimentary to one another. I have come to observe that my practice reflects a multitude of learning theory relationships, particularly; behaviourism, humanism, cognitivism, choice theory and social-constructivism.
The term Research Methodology refers to a set of procedures, methods & techniques that are put together by the researchers to obtain a solution to the problems they confront during the collection of data. The researchers look for the most crucial data which is inevitable for the research. Generally there are three kinds of approaches or research methods namely Qualitative, Quantitative and Mixed. These methods are used to gather data and resolve issues that emerge during the process of data gathering. The researcher can bring forward his findings either in the form of quantitative or qualitative or mixed research methodologies only when the data is collected based on the preliminary data gathering process and the secondary data gathering process.
Chapter two; Literature Review The entire research journey is based on few important steps which can also be recognized as research process involving certain measures; to be carried out effectively. This process includes (Library, 2015); 1. Framing of a particular research question 2. searching and examining the relevant literature studies 3. Management of the accumulated search data 4.
