Boston College Eagles Atlantic Coast Conference (2014 record: 7-6) Head Coach: Steve Addazio Offense: Ever since the team 's move to the ACC, the Eagles have struggle to find the consistency that is necessary to compete against the likes of teams like Florida State and Clemson. In 2014, they had a really nice rushing attack that accounted for 254.7 YPG, but the passing game was almost non-existent coming up with an average of only 129 YPG. They took good care of the ball with only 13 turnovers, which indicates they need to find better balance on offense and create more scoring opportunities. The water gets really deep for Coach Addazio who needs to get this team turned around in a hurry. With the loss of his starting QB, Tyler Murphy, he losses about 60% of the team 's offensive production from 2014. Murphy only passed for 1,623 yards and 13 TDs, but really excelled in the running game where he led the team in rushing with 1,184 yards and 11 TDs. With his graduation, the only returning starter who made any kind of impact last year is SO RB Jon Hillman who rushed for a total of 860 yards and 13 TDs. It is not clear who the coach is going to designated at the QB position, but whomever it is is going to be starting the season with no prior experience in the NCAA and a stable of receivers who have yet to show the ability to come up with the big play. …show more content…

Coaches don 't like coming off so-so seasons with these kinds of losses on the offensive squad. Boston College has spent the last couple of years inching towards a full-on rebuilding process and it would seem that time has arrived.
