Abstract— The power systems are designed to operate effectively and efficiently. Now a day the present loads are mostly based on power electronic devices. These loads are very sensitive to power quality problem such as voltage sag. Hence these devices are needed to be protected by suitable compensating devices. DSTATCOM is one such a compensating device which is based on voltage source converter. It is one of the Flexible AC Transmission System and it is controlled using the PI controller. This paper proposes the analysis of voltage sag and under voltage. By selecting the proper gain value of the PI

This is achieved by varying the PI controller gain. The second case is based on the load compensation, this is achieved due to, i) the dc source as constant and controller gain are variable. ii) the dc source value are variable and controller gain as constant.
II. Basic Principle of DSTATCOM
The figure 1 shows the basic structure of DSTATCOM. It consists of voltage source converter, dc energy storage and a coupling transformer which is connected in shunt to the distribution network. The voltage source converter is a power electronic device which is used to convert direct current to alternating current. The DSTATCOM is used to generate or absorb the reactive power. There are three modes of operation in DSTATCOM [4, 11]. They are,
a) No load mode (Vsa = Vi)
b) Capacitive mode (Vi > Vsa)
c) Inductive mode (Vi <

Per Reporter: Christine and the baby tested positive for benzodiazepines and marijuana. The meconium test is pending. There were no birth defects; however, the nurse (unknown) mentioned that the baby is experiencing withdrawals (trimmers). Christine takes Subutex (methadone), which are prescribed.
MSTT met with Lemuel to further review the discharge plan and examine how he feels about the discharge. Lemuel stated he wish there was more time but stated he 's ready to take on his responsiblities. Lemuel explained he 's ready to start working and completing his GED program. MSTT and Lemuel then went out into the community to continue the discuss at a local resturant. MSTT encourage Lemuel to continue on the positive path he 's on and to stay motivatied.

the station under Miranda, Mr. Ricks admitted ownership of the firearm. Dossey did not record the Miranda interview and he was the only officer present during the interview. Dossey said his understanding of domestic violence laws pertaining to firearms is that officers should inquire if firearms are in the residence and then confiscate them.
In this control system, sub-stations are work separately and all are connect to each other through grid system. If any sub-system's control system is shuts so in that case that sub-system area will effected. In addition, no need to shut whole system. In addition, if the fault is big so in that case that area power supply will start through another sub-station via grid system. Figure: decentralized system architecture
Ja'Dyn continues to engage in negative behaviors at school due to his inability to control his angry outburst and lack of ability to utilize his coping skills. Ja'Dyn is a misunderstood young man who has developed a bad reputation at school which has placed him in the crosshairs of all the faculty regardless if he started or engaged in any negative behaviors. Mom needs to be a little more proactive in making sure the school is following his IEP and 504 which is in place.
The breach I found was from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee on October 2, 2009. This case was the largest breach incident as of October 2009 under the HITECH breach notification rule. The breach affected more than 1 million individuals. HIPAA privacy and security rules were breached. Security evaluations and physical safeguards are required under the HIPAA security rule.
If time travel was possible, (which is somewhat un-imaginable with all the paradoxes), I would want to travel to Ancient Greece, because the Greeks were, (and still are) an amazing culture. Their art style, their sculptural techniques, the creative gods (which the Romans stole and renamed, Romans….), building style, and religion. But with all the theories, such as Albert Einstein 's theory which he stated that space and time are joined as a four-dimensional fabric, known as space time. Also seen in “Back To The Future” with Doc. Emmett Brown’s “Delorean Time Travel Machine” with the “Flux Capacitor” as the main component to be used to be able to time travel, which is powered by plutonium, which Doc.
Wednesday marked a landmark victory for the homeless, particularly those fighting for a place to set up temporary shelter. The B.C./Yukon Association of Drug War Survivors sued the City of Abbotsford after city workers used chicken manure to disperse a homeless camp. Another Abbotsford homeless camp was dispersed after police pepper-sprayed residents and destroyed their tents. “"We are deeply apologetic for any hurt this may have caused.
Watching “13th” was a confirmation of what I already knew. The institutionalization of black men is another form of slavery; it’s just the legal way to do it. Black men were perceived as dangerous and criminals from the moment they were “freed” slaves. They were targeted, feared and lied on as the years went on. A major example of this was the story of Emmet Till.
Q 1. With respect to lean manufacturing, what do you see as “next steps” for Daktronics? Should Daktronics extend lean techniques to non-manufacturing areas? What are the pros and cons? Answer:
INTRODUCTION In June 2008, TATA Motors announced the acquisition of brands Jaguar and Land Rover from the car producing giant Ford Motors. The deal was valued at US$ 2.3 billion and is considered an overall success even from intercultural perspective. On the contrary, the deal was speculated to be a huge failure as the world was entering into recession in 2008 and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) was incurring huge losses. The deal was an all cash deal with 100% acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover’s businesses.
