Stricter gun control in the US. In society we should have more gun control because anyone is able to obtain and have a firearm. The author claims “In 2008 and 2007 54% of people are for gun control laws”. We need stricter gun control laws because the crime rate would be reduced, and the amount of deaths by a firearm would drop. If stricter gun laws were to be set into motion crime rate would go down because felons would have to go through an even bigger process to obtain a firearm. Statistics show that in 2002 increase in gun control the crime rate involving firearms have dropped.
