Student Teaching Philosophy Statement

During the spring of the upcoming school year, I am scheduled to complete student teaching. As much as I would like to complete student teaching at MCA, it appears that I will not be able to do so. I do not yet know all the details, but understand that I am required to student teach 10 weeks in an inclusion setting with a special education teacher that has three years experience in a general education inclusion setting. I am awaiting a call from a UNC-G representative to learn more.

I wanted to make you aware even as I wait to hear more specific details. I hope that there is a way for me to remain in my position with some time off in the spring to complete the student teaching requirement. Please let me know if you would like to discuss
