1. The nature of history and lack thereof
History is the study of past events. It is usually recorded and the writer narrates taking into account every detail of events and time. A student is mostly supposed to study history. The history that was written or narrated marks significant events, time persons or groups and made great contributions to our country. History gives us knowledge, learning and enlightment. My professor told us those people in the past considered events through signs from heaven and they could perceive something good or bad was to happen, e.g. Typhoon. History happens with specific time and it cannot be separated from it.
6. The use of history in relation to life
History is made possible by many written events and experiences that have impact in life. In my view I consider bad and painful happenings of the past that are useful to my present life. They cannot determine the present but can lead to better future. Since nothing is perfect, imperfection is similar to Karl Marx idea on communism which means a ”perfect society” is not applicable. The difficulties experienced by human beings are categorized into two; a helpful tool to succession or a harmful tool to failure.
Being a student and a Filipino living in this country, there are many usage of history. History can lead to betterment of our lives as it is dependent variable on capabilities and capacities. The history of our Philippine hero, Doctor Jose P. Rizal; his life history has a big impact in our life especially in our nation. He contributed in obtaining freedom from Spaniards. He wrote novels like Noli Me Tangere and El to enlighten Filipinos. He never used arms but wrote novels that inspired freedom
History - the study of past events, particularly in human affairs. Asking me to write about the History of Flagger Force is like asking me to write my autobiography. I say this because I am officially the longest tenured operations employee in King of Prussia. Much like we say every member of our field staff remembers their first week on the job, I remember my first week on the job also.
In History 1111, it teaches a broad introduction to the development of the United States. From the casualty losses to major expansion, the United States has developed World History with each major aspect of important, historical events. In this course I have learned not only important events, but how to analyze them and how they affect our world today. History is a great topic because as we acknowledge past events, it influences the future. Events really mold the culture and society that everyone lives in.

And unfortunately, this is more or less the only way we are able to view history, simply because it has all happened many many years ago. But if we were able to look at history the way we look at our lives today, as not just a series of facts, but as a real era with real, living people, then we can gain an enormous amount of insight into what a certain period in history was truly like. We can begin to view history this way by studying how one event influences another.
It builds crucial skills such as time management and work endurance that students will carry on throughout their lives. As well as building crucial life skills the class creates an amazing learning environment for students to discuss and debate in. There is not a lot of information about Herodotus and most of our information about him comes from his actual writing itself. What does success mean to me? It means accomplishing things in life and reaching your goals. Everyone has a different view of what success actually is. Success also means setting a goal and reaching it in a time frame you set for yourself. For example I believe finishing college and gaining a career in a field you love is being successful because it is a goal that can be achieved.
My Greatest Accomplishment A truly great accomplishment is something that lasts and requires determination and extensive effort. For me, making the Texas Small School All-State Mixed Choir was my biggest accomplishment because it opened me up to new passions, taught me how to work hard, and set me on the path I am on today. In my sophomore year, I joined choir simply to get my fine arts credit out of the way.
“Academic success,” for me, doesn’t mean graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA and attending an Ivy League college with a ton of scholarships. Personally, the term “academic success” means being able to feel proud of my own dedication and the hard work that I put in. Having the end result ultimately be, walking across the stage at graduation; whether that be at my high school graduation next year or my college graduation down the line. I know I will have achieved the epitome of my own “academic success” when I am dress in a cap and gown and am sitting at either of my graduations. All I hope for is that I am able to attend a college I want to attend, have proud parents, and in the end, proud of myself.
The high school that I was in gave me an interesting experience. I was able to learn and experience different lessons with in my high school. Three of those life lessons that I went through are when my school was placed on lockdown, another experience is a club that I joined which helped really mature. Finally the other experience I faced in high school was that some of my friends that I had wanted me to join them in some bad situations but I kept myself out of those situations.
What does success mean to mean to me? It means doing things that will help you in life. I also think success mean to make you a better person. Being successful can be looked upon in many different ways, such as being rich, having nice car, good job, or anything to make someone else jealous of what you have. Being successful to me means you accomplished what your goal or goals were.
Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to be successful in life. I have always wanted to be the better version of my parents and achieve many things in life. During my freshman year in High school, I knew I was going to major in business. I come from a household of five, my father, mother, two younger sisters, and myself. I am the first in my family to go to college and with that being said, I have always felt the pressure to be the best role model and example for my younger sisters.
How to Achieve Success The term of success appears frequently in public notice and it spurs extensive interests in public. Everybody wants to achieve success, but the fact is that not everyone can make it even though he or she has tried his or her best. Then it comes to a question - how to make it? Does it depend on opportunity or any other features?
