Coping with Stress Coping means how people face their everyday problems. Coping depends on your psychological responses to stress, their judgment in an event, their attention, and their goals to result they desire. Dealing also depend on social context and interpersonal relationships. It may affect them to express what they feel. If person that dealing with stress have communicated with other people, his or her will become a strong person because someone gives time and listen to his or her problem.
Adversity being stressed to people, everyone has its own pace of facing it. He/ She may not consider that each decision he/she makes has an equal or corresponding situation. It requires a certain resilience to overcome adverse situation. It entails staying stable and being healthy in the levels of physical and psychological functions, even in the face of challenge. People who successfully apply Adversity Quotient perform optimally in the face of adversities.
If a conscientious person faces difficulties, he would try his best to find the solution. Therefore, he can have a higher chance to cope with the problems which means his resilience is high. As a result, personal factor is significant to
One cannot expect him to learn to control his emotions and find a way to cope with the neglect he feels as an outsider to society. Therefore, when he meets a boy who mocks him for being ugly, and finds him to be of relation to Victor, he unintendedly murders William as he cannot control his rage. His self-preservation and growing condescension for society rationalizes his actions. Victor yet again fails the monster, as he is absent and unable to provide a moral compass for the creature. A serial killer is often defined as someone who murders three or more in at least three or more separate events (Mitchell& Aamodt).
Life is full of stress. Humans are built to handle stress, our body make physical and psychological adjustment to these situations. When the stressful event is over, the body returns to a relaxed state (Mayer, 2005). According to Mayer, the negative reactions to stress can be seen if the person is having an absence of awareness in managing their stress, mostly they tend to have a sweaty palms, or increased in heart rate. If this reaction would always been experienced to a person, it may turn into disturbing and harmful, and causes discomfort and psychic
A hero exhibits many qualities. Responsibility, bravery, and loyalty are just a few on many qualities that can be found in heroes. But to me, some of the most important qualities a hero needs are recognizing one's flaws and weaknesses, listening to others, and selflessness. With recognizing one's flaws and weaknesses, a person, a hero, can learn what they need to do to better themselves. They know the limit of their abilities and can work to improve themselves.
I would also describe resilience as having the ability to face the trauma, and come out better for it. Some of the ways that one can develop resilience, is to first make sure they are taking care of themselves, and using a lot of self-care. In addition, remember to always be flexible, and be open minded in dealing with past trauma. In addition, the willingness to accept that it can be a long process in dealing with past things, and the road to resilience can take longer for themselves, than for other people. Making connections can also help a person develop resilience, and if a person makes connections with people who experience the same trauma, then they can return to their normal level of functioning much sooner.
However, some come out of nowhere and it is important to understand why something triggers a reaction. Those who can do this get to the core of a feeling quickly. Those situations that create strong emotions require more thought and by reflecting on them, it keeps one from doing something regrettable. Self-awareness is an honest and straightforward way of understanding what makes one tick and not about unearthing deep, dark secrets or unconscious
Conflict refers to perceived differences resulting from disagreement moreover, conflict management is then the application strategies to improve or repair these perceived differences through a positive outlook. In years and years managers have been taught how to picture conflict as a negative, however, it may either be practical or impractical. In addition, impractical conflict is harmful and leads to diminished productivity in which practical conflict may require improved work effort and better task performance, for example Borisoff and Victor(1998) mention that as people, differences should be recognised and acknowledged but equally communicated as people are driven to find creative solutions to problems in nature. The Sources of Conflict
