In this lab we used mechanical weathering to shake up sugar cubes inside of a mason jar. To complete the lab we needed to shake for 3 minutes to see how the mechanical weathering actually works. The sugar cubes represented the rocks and minerals. We used sugar cubes because they have a mass less than other rocks and minerals. I thought as we shook the cube it would just crumble into little bits.
Thirdly was the sea salt with an average of 33 minutes. Finally, the Epsom salt took the longest time to dissolve the ice cube with an average of 47 minutes. The table salt melted the ice faster than the kosher salt, and Epsom salt because a granule of table salt is the smallest so
The British Parliament passed the Tea Act on April 27, 1773 which was a import tax and it raised the price of tea to three cents per pound on all tea sent to America. It took three months for the colonist to hear about the new tax and the were not happy about it when they found out. On November 5, 1773 there was a town meeting a Faneuil Hall. There were more that 1,00 Boston citizens who attended it. They were talking about the tea tax and demanded the resignations of the agents who
They posted the drugs all over the UK. Investigators were only able to use estimate how much they took in from the number of transactions because they use data-shredding software to get rid of evidence. The site, however, got over 4,000 reviews. The value of the operation was anywhere from £275,000 to £1.5m, depending on the value of the volatile virtual currency Bitcoin, which they used for trade. What is fentanyl?
I know this because I was one of the first ones called to get an ice cube. I went over to a dark, cold corner to put my ice cube in because in a corner there might not be as much air flow so that heat can come in. I tried to find a low place because hot air and heat rises and when air gets cold it sinks lower than the hot air does. Then after everyone put there boxes down, we went back to our classes and waited. When my box was in the room, the three heat transfers were trying to get inside my
To do so, a double blind study was conducted where all of the participants were not allowed to consume caffeine for four weeks and given replacement drinks. For half of the participants, the replacement drink contained caffeine and the other half received a drink without caffeine. After the four weeks was up, the participants were either given a caffeinated drink to taste test. The group that stayed on caffeine throughout the experiment reported pleasantness for the drink, and the group that was completely withdrawn had much lower levels of pleasantness being reported. This study will be extremely useful for my paper because it subliminally implies that caffeine dependence can indeed change the way people think.
Researchers believe that even more deaths could be attributed to crib bumpers than these studies have shown, as a review of information from the National Center for the Review and Prevention of Child Deaths showed that 32 other infant deaths between 2008 and 20011 could have been due to crib bumper issues, which would raise the death toll to 77. Crib bumper ban recommended Crib bumpers are already banned and not allowed to be sold in Maryland, as well as in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Due to the crib bumper danger, the study recommends the Consumer Product Safety Commission ban the sale of crib bumpers. Additionally, the American Academy of Pediatrics, Canadian Pediatric Society, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have also recommended against using crib

We also observed that when dropped halfway up the ramp, the marble and the ejected marble were slower. The speed of the ejected marble was similar to the speed of the initial marble. In part two we found the mass of regular sized marble, dropped it down the ramp, timed its rolling for 30.0 cm, then recorded the data in a data table. After 3 trials we found the momentum with the equation p= m x v, recorded those results, and found the
First evidence about chewing gum should not be allowed in schools is that chewing gum, of course sugarless, for at least thirty minutes can do the trick and could offer relief for as long as three hours. Another reason, I think chewing gum should not be allowed in schools is that the disposal of the gum when finished is also a problem, such as when it ends up underneath tables
