Sugata Mitra was awarded the TED Prize for his workings in education. He got this far by simply asking himself an important question that must be answered in today’s era. Finding answers to this question took time as he conducted several experiments leading to his mind-blowing conclusion. Once he found that answer, he engaged in a powerful speech based on his answer to what lies ahead of us in the future of education. Why is it that students must go to school every day? Why is this education system set up the way it is? Does today’s society really need to learn everything taught in school to succeed in the outside world?
