In addition, an increase in drug and alcohol use may lead to violence. Next, social isolation as well as family environment are factors of teen suicide. In other words, having little to no contact people or society can increase the chances of teen suicide. Females are more likely to attempt suicide compared to men. Triggering events are also factors of suicide, an example can be the loss of a scholarship.
