Automatic Watering in Flower Pot by Abdul Kaleem
Intro:
Who wouldn’t like to have a beautifully maintained garden with blooming flowered and lush green plants making our days begin in tranquillity? However, to ensure such a well-kept garden one needs to take good care and water the plants regularly. Most of us who get plants home for gardening face the problem of wilting due to lack of timely watering. This issue is aggravated whenever people are out of town for long durations and most flowers die due to lack of moisture. Abdul Kaleem to had gardening very close to his heart and noticed this problem of lack of timely watering. Hence, having a problem-solving temperament, he developed a sensor controlled device that automatically switched on and off the attached motor based on the moisture content level in the pot of plants. Soon as the water content in the pot crosses the minimal required level, the sensor controller automatically starts the pump and the pot is watered. The reverse takes place once the adequate moisture has been received by the pot and the pump switches off.
Using this device one is rest assured that none of the plants in the garden will ever wilt due to lack of moisture. Such a blessing for gardeners and nature lovers!

Not only that, he is also very frugal in his approach and ensures to use as much as waste material as possible, lying around with him or his friends. Only when he cannot find what he needs from waste, in extreme cases, is when he buys it from the market. Due to his deep interest in Science, he wants to open a science club to promote scientific thinking among people. He has always had support from his family and friends even though many others make fun of his interests. To such cynics he intends to say
Riethman encourages and embraces diversity with open arms. This diversity is mainly the new practices and technological advances seen throughout the agricultural industry. Mr. Riethman also pointed out that there is a big difference between country life and city life. While these two groups of people could possibly have very different views on certain topics, as the extension educator, Mr. Riethman has to remember to always treat both sides of the spectrum with the utmost respect in all cases. He preaches that everyone is a person and every person is entitled to their own unalienable rights in which nobody can deny.
Instead growing the same crops in the same field every year, which can ruin the soil, they would capriciously switch fields to refuel the nitrogen in the ground
Establishing new planting and growing methods was no simple task, but was eventually accomplished. For farmers to gain access to the tools and supply nations with food, a fast, vast and simple method of transportation was needed. And
I have always had a passion for drawing, painting, and crafting. Within the landscaping aspect of horticulture, I plan to focus more on the Hardscaping portion. I have done some Hardscaping on a few friends’ properties. I absolutely loved the planning, designing, and the construction of the project. Given the opportunity to step back and admire a piece of art representing my landscaping abilities is truly extraordinary.
Shattered “There is not much room in the world for glass roses.” On a daily people attempt to live their lives in accordance with their own values but can be constrained towards certain actions because they feel obligated and/or forced to do so. Alden Nowlan’s short story “The Glass Roses” demonstrates the role of self-preservation in response to competing demands through a “willowy fifteen-year-old” protagonist who is faced with conflicting views on the true meaning of manhood. Throughout the story Stephens beliefs are detained and tested by the pulp-cutters, the Polack, and his father.
In Michael Pollan’s article “Why Bother,” takes a different approach and talks about how gardening can not only help save our planet but can also benefit the population. For example, gardening can help lead a healthier lifestyle by
The NOVA documentary “Naturally Obsessed: the making of a scientist” shows the lives of three post-graduate students at Columbia University and their experiments and struggles they faced in the lab and the impact their research had on their mental and social health. One of the students, Rob, has aspirations to become like his mentor Larry and have his own lab and students. Personally, I relate more with Rob than the other students in the film because like him, I tend to look up to the people I admire. Additionally, Rob and I share a steadfast resolve when doing work regardless of the difficulty. Although Rob has been unsuccessful for two and a half years in producing successful results, he is still determined to finish his research and earn
Some authors use transformations in stories to show readers how characters change for the better as they go through hard times or make bad choices. Eugenia Collier uses the transformation in her fictional short story, Marigolds, to show us the change of the main character, Lizabeth, as she changes from childhood to womanhood when she destroys Miss Lottie’s marigolds. The story flashbacked to when Lizabeth was about to turn fifteen in the Depression and took place in the poor neighborhood she lived in, where she and her friends picked on Miss Lottie for being the poorest. Collier uses characterization to show Lizabeth’s change from childhood to womanhood.
Yusef Komunyakaa composed Blackberries in 1992 who told the story of himself as a little boy who picked berries and sold them for a living. In Blackberries, Yusef Komunyakaa fixated on the theme of social class by utilizing imagery, metaphors, and allusions to depict the poem. Yusef balanced between the world of wealthy and poor; usage of plethora images and metaphors to illustrate the boy’s perplexed lifestyle while living in a rural world. In the poem was the continuous use of imagery, which exemplified how he connected to the world.
Not every town has its roots firmly entrenched in the era of cowboys, prairie wagons, and western expansion, but homes for sale in Flower Mound, TX rest on ground that was once part of the Wild, Wild West. Not every town gets to boast existence because of the likes of Sam Houston, and not every town contains what may have been an ancient Native American burial ground, but Flower Mound does, and it has a rich history to share. According to the Texas State Historical Association (TSHA), Flower Mound was founded when Sam Houston quelled local raids on settlers trying to pass through the area. The year was 1844, and tensions between expansionists and Native Americans were running high.
In “An Indian Father’s Plea” by Robert G. Lake-Thom, Lake-Thom uses transitions to help connect his ideas and create a well written essay. In the twelfth paragraph the author discusses the knowledge that his son possessed before he began going to the school he is currently attending. Since Lake-Thom is listing the knowledge his son possessed before starting at that school he uses the transitional expression “and” frequently in this paragraph. Lake-Thom also repeatedly uses the transitional expression “but” when he says that while his son may not be able to do something that other non-Indian children his age can do such as writing their names he has knowledge of other things that those children don’t have. He also begins multiple sentences with
After summer break, I returned to Westlake High School for my junior year, feeling as if something was missing. The decision to spearhead the creation of a chapter of the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) at my school arose because of my desire to establish a niche where high school students could express their shared passion for the sciences. The SNHS would provide enlightening scientific activities and opportunities for students, and the Science club would serve as a path to introduce members into the society. I initially proposed the creation of the society in a meeting with the Principal and Board of Education. Quite a few obstacles had to be overcome to start a new organization in the school.
Everyone has a mentor in their life. Some may not realize, but we all do. It may be a parent, a friend, or anyone. Someone to be there for you and to act like a sibling. In the novel “Tangerine” , Luis Cruz acts like a mentor to Paul by helping him find new interests, helps him with his grades and projects, and cares about his health, and Paul in general.
Introduction Plants are a major necessity in the balance of nature, people’s lives, and our terrain. We may not realize it, but plants are the ultimate source of food for almost 95% of the world population so says the National Group of Food. It’s a fact that over 7,000 species of plants are being consumed today. Plants are one of the reasons that we get clean water; as they help regulate the water cycle.
A tastefully designed yard can add cosmetic appeal to a house and, in turn, increase the overall value of one’s home. Besides adding monetary value, a garden can help one sell their house faster than the average homeowner. Gardening also realigns one with the origins of their food. After I started to care for my own vegetables and herbs, I became more conscious of my overall diet; this is something that relates to me straight away.
