Chris was an independent person who didn’t follow any rudimentary rules and did things his own way. He was a scholar that was good at almost everything he do. Chris soon discovered that his father, Walt McCandless, has been cheating on his mother, Billie McCandless, with his ex-wife. This leads him to feel betrayed which turned him into a pensive and murky person who turned his back against everything that’s going for him.
