He left everyone speechless with what he did , and also left them looking up to him. Little kids all ages not only looked up to him as a player,but also as a person. Any player could have been so good that they left a impact on a kid, but Jackie Robinson left one on kids as a person to look up to. He also made people think differently about African Americans , and how they can make a change in the world. People all over the world would look at Jackie just as a normal baseball player but now they had much more respect for him.

Although Jackie Robinson Theseus and Miep Gies had many different experiences, when the time came, they all acted very heroically. Jackie Robinson influenced a lot of black people to play baseball. He also, made a difference to the society. Jackie Robinson played a major role in the era of racial issues and blacks striving to be socially equal with whites. By breaking the color impediment in 1947, Jackie Robinson made amazing strides not only for black athletes, but also the hovering issues with racial equality. Robinson wanted to show people across America that African American’s had just as much of a right to be on the field as whites did. He faced many racial issues that were harmful towards him but he remained serene and did not act out against the harsh violence that was put upon him.

Jackie Robinson was a game changer for all sports. He broke barriers in baseball allowing African Americans to play baseball. Jackie was hated at first but he didn't say anything and let his playing do the talking. Jackie didn't only change baseball he helped his community and the Civil Rights movement.

Jackie Robinson is remembered as the African american that broke the color barrier for the Major League Baseball. Many words can be used to describe him, such as hero, powerful, stupid, anything of that sort, not all good, but not all bad. Keeping a cool head was key to his success, dealing with many racist names that he was called as he stepped up to the plate. With pitchers aiming at his head, he still became a very accomplished athlete in as many fields imaginable. Jackie didn’t pay attention to what people thought or said about him, just knowing he was going to get on base the next pitch.

But Jackie Robinson also had a life outside of baseball packed with excitement. He had to stand up for his rights on the field and off and had to deal with problems like everyone else but worse. Jackie Robinson’s social life was affected by baseball and he helped the Civil Rights movement.

I was able to make questioning while reading this book. First, how did Jackie Robinson change the sport of baseball? And how did everyone who hated him before like him? I kept on reading then and then I found the answer to the question, Robinson was the first black to play any league game and he was a better pitcher and batter

The film, 42, is the portrayal of the life of Jackie Robinson. Jackie Robinson was the first African American baseball player to be recruited to play for a Major League team, the Brooklyn Dodgers. Of course, because he was the first African American, people did not take so kindly to him taking such a daring step into the White world. This film is a biopic that describes how Robinson was treated and how he was resilient enough to finish off the season and pave the way for more African Americans to enter Major League Baseball. Not only can the film be considered a just a biopic, but it can be considered so much more.

He was the first black baseball player (McBirney 2017). Robinson had perseverance because he never gave up. He started in small leagues and he made it to the top leagues of baseball (McBirney 2017). HE started of in a school and then played with the Dodgers. He received threats by his teammates and would use violence against him.(McBirney 2017).

Although the illustrious athlete had many achievements, he is still unqualified to be in the Hall of Fame. To have representation in the Hall of fame a player must qualify all the standards; including to be off the ineligible list. In agreement, Pete Rose was among the greatest baseball players in the history of baseball; however he should adhere to the regulations. He is not in the Hall of Fame because he did not satisfy the MLB Hall of Fame requirements and he also broke the MLB rule of

Back in the early 1900s (1910-1930) when baseball was starting to produce stars and attract fans it was a huge part of American life. For the fans, the juiced era was exhilarating, but for the game of baseball it was horrifically dark. This era tarnished the name of the great game that was one time formed around the honesty and character of it’s players. Steroid users harmed not only their own careers and chances of joining the brotherhood of the HOF, but the careers and chances of numerous other players who strived to obtain their own ticket to join the prestigious group. The juiced era was ten years of broken records and padded stats. Names like Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa,and Mark McGwire, went from HOF bound to disgraces to the name of baseball.

Jackie Robinson Jackie Robinson was the first African American to play baseball in the majors. Jackie Robinson had many obstacles to get through to get to the majors and to stay on the team. He had to stay calm when people would constantly call him a “negro”, “nigger” and other harsh racist words. Not only did he have to not lash out when people would call him names, he also had to not lash out when the Brooklyn Dodgers weren't allowed to stay in a hotel because a “nigger” was on their team. Along with being called names, and not being allowed to stay in a hotel, Robinson also received death threats stating “Robinson we will kill you if you attempt to enter a ball game at Crosley field.”

In 1947, Manager Branch Rickey, of the Brooklyn Dodgers, signed Jack Roosevelt Robinson to play baseball on the Dodgers’ minor league team. From there, Jackie Robinson played his way to becoming the starting first-baseman of the Brooklyn Dodgers and helped lead the team to a division title. Robinson was the first negro ball-player to play on a Major League Ball Club, while this was an enormous accomplishment for all negro ball-players, it took its toll on Jackie.
