Wilson describes the twenty-year long process where scientists seek to break open the force field of the artifact and learn of its true nature and reason for its location. When everything fails, they use their last plan of attack which is bombarding it with nukes until only dust remains. Its purpose was never determined as it was soon rendered inoperable by humans, an artifact that withstood the nature of the moon and its forces for an insurmountable time. Wilson provides his own interpretation of the importance of the pyramid. He thinks that the sentinel is one of many placed throughout space by an extremely technologically advanced race in order to keep tabs on the evolution of other aliens.
The Martian Chronicles, written by Ray Bradbury, is about man's journey to Mars in 26 loosely connected stories. Each story tells a different perspective of the new frontier and Bradbury's view of humans. The book begins with Earth facing war and man sending rockets to Mars in search of a new life. The first story was the “Locusts”.The locusts were in February 2002.The Locusts is about the rockets that came like drums and beating in the night. The rocket set the bony meadows afire, and was touring rock to lava. And transmitted water to steam. Then when carpenters had hurried on the women came in with flower pots and chintz and pans and set up a kitchen clamor to the cover the silence that mars made waiting outside the door and the shaded windows. Then
Introduction This paper will analyze and review two films (Apollo 13 / Paths Of Glory) for leadership and management theories on their storylines. Apollo 13 is a space documentary, drama film (1995) based on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Apollo 13 aborted lunar mission for the moon in 1970. In the movie, the Apollo 13 spacecraft experienced tremendous internal damage shortly after take-off. Recognizing the state of the Apollo 13 spacecraft and fearing for the lives of its astronauts, NASA Mission Control must immediately come up with a plan to return the astronauts safely back to earth. The second film, Paths of Glory, is a war-drama film (1957) which dramatized the anti-war sentiments of soldiers during World War
The highly public sojourn into what the Star Trek franchise refers to as “the Final Frontier” has been debated for decades amongst scholars and scientists. Mankind has been in awe of the stars and planets surrounded by the vast expanse of space for thousands of years, and now we have the technology and motivation of enough people to debark from our home planet. We have successfully put men on the moon, and the next step is the colonization of the dusty red planet named after the God of War. I am adamant that the Mars expeditions are necessary to prevent the overpopulation of the earth, save humanity from the depletion of resources that sustain life, and further the knowledge and prosperity of the citizens on current and future planets. It

One of the most iconic openings in cinematic history belongs to the Star Wars Series in which the opening monologue reads: “A Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” (Lucas 0:01). In 2009 and 2012, The Walt Disney Company made two other film company purchases, including Marvel for $4 billion and Lucasfilm for $4 billion. Main Point 2: 1970’s film Beneath the Planet of the Apes tells a story about a new character who is sent on a rescue mission looking for Taylor and his crew. a. Sub Point: Basically, main character Brent crash lands at the same time and place as the previous film and takes a journey from the Ape Village to the Forbidden Zone where he finds Taylor. He also finds intelligent humans the live beneath (hence the title) that possess telepathic powers in direct result from the nuclear war that is said to have led to the reason of why Apes are now the dominant creature. b. Sub Point: This movie is all shades of fucked up. Not the best sequel and it ends with Taylor detonating a nuclear bomb that destroys the planet of the Apes.

In 1977 when Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope was released it sparked his career and led him on the path to become a cult star. Mark Hamill starred as Luke Skywalker probably one of the most iconic roles in film history and after that he never escaped the role. Even though he has appeared in a lot of movies/TV shows before and after the release of Star Wars he is still known as Luke Skywalker. His co-star Harrison Ford was stuck with the same fate as being known as Han Solo at the time but he moved on and started doing film like Blade Runner the Indiana Jones franchise. This then rid him of being known as Han Solo as he made more films where he played many different characters this meant that audiences couldn’t pin him to one role it broke the classification of naming him a character thus giving him a identity.
