A similar idea can be connected to pooches, in spite of the fact that the media depicts Pit Bulls as frightfully forceful mutts, any canine can succumb to animosity. Numerous individuals ask why canines wind up forceful anyway, they don't know that in many cases creatures react to change in their condition or even their proprietor with hostility. Truth be told, certain things that may appear to be miniscule to people like moving or pregnancy may influence mutts momentously. There is a great deal of inquired about, strong data about canine animosity out there that can help in averting and controlling pooch nibbles and assaults. Sadly, this data isn't yet basic information, particularly the way that human conduct is the main source for partner creature assaults. Truly, hereditary qualities plays an expansive part in a mutts conduct, however despite the fact that pooches have been reared for some, extraordinary occupations, they were essentially reproduced for human friendship. Subsequently, they have to feel a similar love and sympathy they give their proprietors. Not exclusively do puppy should be treated with adoration they additionally should be prepared keeping in mind the end goal to set up guidelines and limits. An enormous oversight made by pet proprietors is accepting that pooches know the contrast amongst good and bad.
The supporting arguments for breed legislation include bite history, their use in illegal activities, the dog’s behavior and attack style, and the fact that breed specific bans are already in place in multiple U.S cities. Those who take the opposing side argue that the dog does not in fact have a locking jaw, they were once referred to as “nanny dogs” because of their gentle nature, all breeds of dog can bite, the owner is responsible for how the dog is raised and therefore influences its behavior, poor breeding and genetics are an important factor, and many rescue organizations adopt out many Pit Bulls who have no current issues or aggression that arises in the
At any point it is never a dogs fault, it is the owner's fault. Responsible ownership, ownership period, and " America's darling" are all reasons why it is never the dog's fault. Responsible ownership comes in handy here because responsible ownership can prevent any aggressive acts. Ownership comes into this category because ownership is what's makes the difference with the dog. "America's Darling" is what Pitt bulls were called, they were called this because back then when someone saw or heard of a pit bull they didn't think "oh no danger", but instead it brought good, happy thoughts to the people's mind.
American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terriers, commonly known as “Pit Bulls”, are all breeds of dogs that are universally misunderstood. Pit Bulls are commonly seen as vicious, dangerous, and violent animals. Unfortunately, Pit Bulls are falling victim to dog racism. Over the years, Pit Bulls have gained a negative reputation, but why? For my research project, I want to address the common misconceptions that constantly follow the bully breed of dogs.
Pit bulls are thought to be vicious dogs by nature. These animals have been tested by the American Temperament Testing Association and were proved to have a better temper than golden retrievers, Labradors, and poodles. The same association proved that these animals do not have an inherent behavior to be violent toward humans. The size of the human does not matter either. Any dog will nip at a child pulling the dogs tail, but pit bulls will not attack by their nature.
Pit bulls owners and potential owners of this amazing breed are in awe of this controversy, because we see no wrong in our pets. Although, there have been numerous attacks on humans and other animals by
Statistics show that surprisingly this beast is a great nanny dog for kids and is some of the best service dogs. According to many pit bull owners, trainers,& years of scientific research pit bulls should be kept as pets because they aren't naturally aggressive, banning pit bulls won't stop dog attacks and they are loving and great family dogs First and foremost #1 reason pit bulls should be kept as pets is that they were not bred to be aggressive, they were raised to be aggressive. I can prove this because from pups pal it states in section 2 how pit bulls were raised to fight they were not bred to fight and because of this the dogs were aggressive so when the pups were born they got the aggressive gene not only that the dogs get the stereotype that they are an aggressive and unruly beast. This supports my thesis because it shows how pit bulls were not bred
Across the nation animal shelters are flooded with unwanted or homeless dogs, 74% of them being pitbulls. It is strongly believed, by some, that animals are not born mean they are made mean. Many people like to jump to the conclusion that Pitbulls and similar dogs, are naturally mean, but in reality they make the best family pets if treated
According to the Mid-American Bully Breed Rescue, there are approximately 5,000,000 registered pit bulls in the United States alone (Pit). Of that 5,000,000 there are roughly 35,000 in shelters. In Los Angeles alone, 72,800 are euthanized each year; if you break that number down, that means about 200 helpless pit bulls are euthanized each day, however if you would rather look at the bigger picture, in the U.S., 728,000 pit bulls are euthanized in just one year. Numbers like these are immensely horrid especially if you are an animal lover. Research was found to try to notify and persuade people into taking action in the spaying and neutering of their animals, eliminating animal abuse as well as dog fighting.
Pit bulls, should we ban them? You may know the American Pit Bull Terrier’s have been to bred to fight but this is not true. Pit bulls were not bred for fighting they were bred to work and herd cattle. They only got their bad reputation as fighting dog because of the owners who trained them to be mean and aggressive.
A Pit-Bull Terrier, more like Pit-Bull Terror is a ferocious, fearful and fierce breed of dog that can cause harm towards your children, your pets or your family. Pit-Bulls are dangerous breeds of dogs and their population should be minimised to reduce the number of attacks and incidents. In 2012 more than 2500 dog attacks occurred due to Pit-bull terriers, their dangerous traits and behaviours can cause torment and grief to families, if they are violent. Could you imagine your children, your friend, your niece, your grandson being killed by a Pit-bull?
From a movie it was stated “Good dragons under control of bad people do bad things” (Time). That is the same thing for pit bulls they just need to be trained the right way. Being trained properly is what causes them to be so great with children (Melanie). People say that “pain and fear” are the two main causes of pit bulls attacking and biting (Time). Some have heard of pit bulls that are “as gentle as lambs” and that just shows how easy they would be to work with.
More than likely the people that get this type of dog would just train a different breed of dog such as german shepherds to do the same thing therefore, “banning pit bulls would make no progress”. http://www.opposingviews.com/i/should-pit-bulls-be-banned. “If it was determined that pit bulls were 5 times more likely to attack than any other dogs, that could mean that 5 out of 1 million pit bulls will attack in their lifetime instead of 1 out of 1 million. The point is the evidence that shows pit bulls are more likely to attack than other dogs is misinterpreted to mean that they are likely to attack”. http://www.opposingviews.com/i/should-pit-bulls-be-banned.
Some pit bulls are penurious. There have been many pit bull attacks in the past and the present. One such attack happened to Justin Clinton. He was a ten year old boy who was mauled to death by two pit bulls. The mother of the child wants there to be a law called Justin 's law.
While most would see their high tolerance pain as a negative trait, this makes them more valuable as family dogs because they can put up with the rough play that occur with children. Pit bulls are not the most vicious breed of dog despite what people think, they tested the highest in temperament at 82% but the average score for any dogs is 77%. According to Sarah Logan Wilson’s article about pit bull facts, someone is 200 times more likely to die from taking aspirin than to be fatally attacked by a pit bull. Pit bull attacks are not as common as social media makes it sound like, in fact, social media has been feeding the world all the negative stories about pit bulls
Have you ever been bit by a dog and thought it was mean? Come to find out, it is very possible it’s not mean at all. Many facts show that dogs bite in many different scenarios. It’s not that they are mean, it could be how they were raised, them feeling threatened, or even low tolerance. There are many statements that prove that the dogs should not be executed for biting someone when it could possibly be our fault as a owner.
