Having a school system run on a four-day rotation would increase their success by offering more opportunities for lesson and work time. Lessons in class are rushed and left unfinished due to the tight time restraints placed upon teachers. They are given an inadequate amount of time to teach the excessive amount of material given to them to cover and, more often than not, they fall behind in their lesson plan, leaving them unable to teach all of the topics in each of their classes. Teachers struggle in reciting the entire lesson within the given time. With the extra fifteen to twenty minutes on their hands they could
Lowered motivation creates low performance, which discourages the students even more. When there is no encouragement, the teenagers often don’t show up to school. The lack of effort correlates to teachers because it could dispirit them from doing work they want to assign in class. Changing to a four day school week can give additional benefits to all parties involved including students, teachers, and the school settings. If a four-day school week was implemented in American school districts, the performance plus achievement for students will increase along with a higher attendance.
What if your school eliminated all the logos, pictures, patterns, and even some colors from your clothing options? This exact thing has happened at around twenty-three percent of public schools in the U.S, and your school could be next. Unless you enjoy being forced to wear the same thing every day, school uniforms are most likely clashing with your ideas of a good education. School uniforms hinder students because they are difficult to enforce, students lose freedom of expression, and they are an unfair expense or even a financial burden for parents. ` First of all, school uniforms are extremely difficult to enforce.
While most children are able to walk before the age of twelve months, it seems that an astoundingly large portion of Central’s population has not reached this basic milestone. High schools are busy places, congested with bodies and run on a strict clock that maintains a relatively smooth flow throughout the day, but this is based on an optimized system, one in which the friction is minimized. With the great number of students incapable of walking in a logical and efficient manner down the halls, this dismissal of friction can be detrimental to the functionality of the school. Traveling between classes should be quick, easy, and
3 This will affect student as they get older because they will not want to do their schoolwork because they have done so much in the past. They will most likely be sick of doing homework whereas it will not be their best work. Experts say there may be real downsides for young kids who are pushed to do more homework than the “10 minutes per grade” standard. 4 I think this makes sense because if I was a 2nd grader I wouldn’t expect to get two hours of homework at night, but if I am a senior in high school that would most likely be accurate. For years, teachers have been using the "10-minute rule" to figure out homework targets.
One reason is that it is extremely boring. Now, this is not a fact, but it certainly a massive thought that the vast majority believe in. Another reason why second step should not be taught in school is that it is very time consuming, and us students don 't have the longest attention span. The time article stating that was made back in 2013, so, our attention span is even shorter than that, which, added onto the factor that we are teenagers and we have a shorter attention span than adults, I estimate our attention span to be a whopping 6 seconds. This class goes on for 1.8 hours, with occasional videos, which are just as boring, according to us students.
70% percent of students use phones, tablets, or play video games before school. Also people wouldn’t be able to finish their homework after school they would have to wait till the morning and try to rush to get it done. It would be much easier if we just left the time how it is. Kids grades would drop grades and everything would be done at last second. Less kids would be passing grades.
It was good idea to change the Wyandotte attendance policy, if students miss more than seven days in the last semester because most people don’t come school in their senior years. One reason that Wyandotte attendance policy should change because students will fail in their classes. Another reason that Wyandotte’s attendance policy should change because students don’t know what they learn in their classes if they did not come school. The last reason was that it’s hard for students when they went to college because they don’t know anything. In conclusion, if students did not come school in their senior years than it will be really bad for them and also they are not allowed to come in graduation
An average student would spend hours on schoolwork a day, which can be very stressful. A high school student will use half of their day around school relation. Almost all elementary to high school students will likely to agree that homework should not be assigned. The majority of students complain about homework yet teachers don’t usually understand why. While homework gives benefits to students, unnecessary homework should not be assigned due to the fact that there are enough school hours, it consumes time, and the development of poor health is encouraged.
Usually, most kids spend about 6.5-7 hours of school from monday-friday, not only are students in school for many hours but for 5 days and homework just adds more hours at home. For are future athletes, most can’t practice or even do a sport because homework takes up most their day, causing students to lose the privilege of doing an outside activity. Though, many would say doing homework keeps the school mode of learning and prepared for the next day. The final reason why homework can be harmful is homework can even cause family issues or illness. Many would say “How can homework cause family issues?”, well there is one main reason.
The college professors outside of freshmen year are way less forgiving than high school teachers. College professors don’t always check your work on blackboard because they have to deal with hundreds of students. When I’m in a class with 100 plus students all of my work is due online because it’s too many people to deal with one on one, so if you have to be on your assignments. In college if you are struggling with the material you have to make the initiative for help, unlike in high school if a teacher sees you struggling you 'll get more one on one attention. To be successful you must go to their office hours because thats when you 'll get your relationship with the professor.
