Dick omits the exposition and heads straight to the conflict, creating suspense. For example, right at the beginning of the story, Martians tell a spacecraft carrying humans to "... land at the Control Station on Demios for inspection" (3). This inspection appears clear out of the blue, and the reader has no idea why the Martians stopped the ship. Through the dialog of the characters, the reader soon finds out that the passengers do not like the idea of this mysterious inspection.

People start killing each other,and cars starting by themselves. I think the The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street is unrealistic because aliens can not shut off power on a whole street, they can 't start cars, and they would ask who was there before they would shoot. An important reason why I think this story is fake is because after Lez tried to start the car it wouldn’t start but when he walked away it started by itself.
Peter has a history of torturing squirrels and Valentine is disgusted by this behavior. He also threatens to kill his younger brother and sister after finishing a game of Buggers and Aliens when he tried to choking Ender to death and Valentine stepped in. Valentine refers to when Peter lashed out in chapter nine page 130, she says “come on, threaten to kill me again, Peter.” while he is is being fake and trying to be kind to Valentine because he wants her to write the essays with him. The lyrics “Am I scaring you tonight? Your mind is in Disturbia” describes Peter because he is mentally not there, and for a minute he scares his younger siblings because of it.

After colonizing Mars there a war on Earth, the war on Earth had massive destruction caused by people. Bradbury’s constantly uses examples about how humanity imperfect behaviors keep them from accepting reality, insteading accepting their own imagination.
