Escape From Reality in Summer
Summer holiday, the best period within a year for me. It is a remedy for me as I have got chances to leaving Hong Kong during this period, and it allows me breaking the chains from work and escaping from the hustle and bustle. In this summer, I escaped from reality and got into a wonderland, Pattaya.
As the aeroplane landed safely, I was able to step out of the plane and airport to find my way to Pattaya. When the automatic door opened, I could feel sunshine and hot breeze hugging me hardly, the sweat came out from my body because of this warm welcome. I could not endure such “enthusiasm”, so I tried my best,

As I stroll along the beach, I could feel the soft smooth sand concealing my feet. I was taken in by the soothing atmosphere that surrounded me. I let myself absorb the intense rays of the sun on a scorching summer day. I felt relaxed by listening to the sounds of the ocean, the regular pounding of the waves restrain all of my worries. And, as I laid down on the soft sand, I could feel I was sleeping on my bed. I could see all the sights of summer. To left, children were building sand castles along the ocean’s edge, to right, I observed people playing banana boat, water motorcycle, and some of them enjoying good books. Then, I was soon at the point where my skin could nearly catch fire by harsh rays of the blistering summer sun, so I ran as fast as wind toward what my body saw as heaven, an endless pool of crystal blue water. I dived into the crashing waves head and floating peacefully among the waves. I was able to aware of the coming waves that were soon to attack me. A gigantic wave had just defeat me, its force knocked me to the sandy bottom of the ocean. I was refreshed and awakened as I was carried back by the waves. It was so exciting! That’s why I love staying and playing in such a great and large beach in
Gentle sea breeze tickled my face as I watched wisps of white fluff drifted across a crystal clear blue sky. The rhythmic sound of the wave; the screeching of the sea birds was so familiar and hypnotic at the same time. However, my children’s pearls of laughter turned all the other sounds into background
Spring break is a time that all students and teachers most definitely look forward to. Many people visit places or go on trips during spring break. While some go and visit family while other party with a large group of friends. Either way Spring break is a major stress reliever for students that are consumed with work for most of the year. Once people come back from spring break they are well energized and ready to Get back to work.
The sounds were amplified, the seals barks echoing through the crisp, morning air and the waves zealously slamming against the rocks. The great magnitude of water sweeping up, and slamming against the algae hooded earth. I felt water droplets
The sun was scorching out heat as it was warming up the city. On the other side the ocean was all admirable dark blue. Waves were shattering surfers. But there was something special in the ocean.
The ocean can be heard from the side of the dock, the blue water lapping on the side of the boat. I look out on the horizon, amazed by the simplicity yet inspiring beauty of the ocean that runs for miles and miles. Behind me is the land that will become my new home. The dark wood of the boat against the water makes me remember the long journey that we have traveled. I turn around and face the land that will become a new start for us all; the place where we can be free and set out to do what we came here for.
I walked up and sat down near the shore of the lake. There was a part where they had put beach sand leading into the lake. I knew there would be this area so I brought a towel with me so I could lay on it. I laid on the towel and took in the environment around me.
I then jump in the freezing cold water, allowing my body to float wherever the water takes me. All of a sudden, a great buildup of water knocked me down to the bottom and washed me out to the shore. Exhausted, I stood up and return to my peaceful spot on the beautiful sandy beach. I hear all people chatting and smelling the barbeque people are cooking. I smell the burnt wood from the bon fire.
An issue that is hotly debated is if there should be year-round schools or not. Some people think year-round school is beneficial, but there is evidence why there should not be year-round school. The first school was made at 1635 and there has schools that had the full summer break since then (“First Public School in America”). Since schools have been successful with an full summer break till now there is no need to change to year-round schools. There should not be year-round schools because it disrupts events in the summer, cost more money, and messes up schedules.
Everyone belongs to different places, and everyone has a different personality and identity. Identity, or the way you characterize yourself, can change a person’s actions, words, and feelings. People feel the need to belong somewhere whether it 's school or at home or anywhere else. Everyone has different personalities no matter what age they are. Children 's’ personalities are to be nice, have fun and stay a kid forever.
The voices of the glistening blue sea will obliterate your stressful mind. When I felt like I was going through a midlife crisis, I grabbed my flip flops, swim trunks, tank top, sunscreen, and lounge chair; while heading toward the Pensacola Beach. A person will be amazed by what they see, hear, feel, smell, and taste at the beach. Although, tourist attractions in Pensacola are marvelous, they’re well-known for having refreshing seafood. When I first stepped foot on the beach, I saw a massive red and white beach ball; spelling out Pensacola Beach.
Everything happened last summer during vacation. Every year my family plans some wild, adventurous trip, and last year we were going to visit some of the states in the northeastern United States. The trip was going fine until we arrived at the state of New Hampshire. We were going to camp there for a few days, and that was when my parents announced that we were all going to climb Mount Washington. I was not too thrilled by this idea, in fact, I was relatively annoyed.
The ocean looked like an enormous pool of wonder. It was exceptionally blue that day with a slight green undertone. The surface looked as though it was covered with millions of diamonds crashing with the waves and kissing the sand. I remember the sand in between my feet, like standing on a coarse cloud that I could just seep into. The water teasing my toes and running back into hiding.
Summers have an air of relaxation to them for most people, but for me I can barely find a moment's rest. Because I work in the hospitality industry, summer is the busiest time of the year. My apartment is a 3 minute walk from the beach and yet I only rarely get to enjoy it. Although there are days, there are precious days, when I can just stop and smell the ocean. Where I can just sit there all day, seemingly without a care in the world.
I'm moving gently forward, over the wild and beautiful, unexplored world below me. I'm floating in silence, and breaking it up with the sound of my breath. Above me, there’s nothing but shimmery light, the place where I've come from, and will go back to when I am done here. I'm going deeper past the wrinkled rocks and dark seaweed, toward a deep blueness where a school of silver fish wait. As I swim through the water, bubbles burst from me, wobbling like little jellyfish as they rise.
My Summer Experience 2015 Swimming in the ocean, eating barbecue with my friends and family, sunbathing at the beach and having fun with my best friend, these are only three activities I did during my favorite season, summer. My summer adventure was based on going to Juan Dolio with my best friend; Laura. We did many fun activities, made memories and got to know each other a little better. Summer is plenty of advantageous qualities that can benefit someone by doing numerous activities. I've always preferred the summer season.
