FABRICATION OF ULTRA FLEXIBLE SUPER CAPACITOR USING POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE Abstract: Stretchable energy storage devices are essential component of fully stretchable and flexible electronics devices. The stretchable and flexible super-capacitors are promising candidates due to their high power density, long life, durability and safety. Super capacitors are high energy storage devices due to their ability of delivering high peak current and storing huge amount of energy in a short time with very low internal power loss. This thesis presents the fabrication and characteristics of ultra-flexible super capacitor based on VLSI technology. The super-capacitor consist of Pvdf as substrate as well as dielectric and gold as electrode. We characterized the fabricated ultra-flexible super capacitor which exhibited high capacitance using impedance analyzer. We also analyzed the charging and discharging value of the super capacitor using cyclic voltammetry. Using pvdf as both substrate and dielectric the super-capacitor is made more economical. INTRODUCTION Super-capacitors, also known as ultra-capacitors or electrochemical capacitors, utilize high surface area electrode materials and thin electrolytic dielectrics to achieve capacitances several orders of magnitude larger than conventional …show more content…
The rotating field may be created either by a rotating magnet or a set of stationary electromagnets, placed beneath the vessel with the liquid. The solution is then poured uniformly into a petri dish and kept in hot air oven to get dry and sterilize. The temperature set in the hot air oven is 140 degree Celsius. As the solution gets dry, the flexible thin film substrate is obtained, which is not uniform. Fig 3 shows the flexible thin film
Module 1 –Discussion 1-2 What is your Capstone Topic? My Capstone will be on woman in Leadership position in corporate America. I will discuss the obstacles that some of the woman experience while in leadership position. Want to compare woman in leadership position in corporate America and woman in Leadership in other countries.
The magnetized zeolite was then cooled for 5 minutes. For both zeolite and magnetized zeolites, the solutions were placed in two centrifuges with equal amounts of solution and placed in both tubes. The tubes were placed in the centrifuge for 10 minutes at 5000 rpm. The liquid in the tube after the centrifuge was poured into a 200 mL waste
Capstone Project: Falls Prevention and Risk Assessment of the Elderly Population while in Long Term Care facility Evidence Based Practice – NUR 4775L Dr. Susan Poole, DNP, CNE November 22, 2015 Capstone Part I: Falls Prevention and Risk Assessment of the Elderly Population while in Long Term Care facility Introduction to Problem According to Centre for disease Control (CDC) more than 1.4 million people 65 and older live in nursing homes. If current rates continue, by 2030 this number will rise to about 3 million (CDC, 2014). Nursing home residents are at an increases risk for falls depending on the acuity of their illness and their mental state.
Artifact: Captain America: Civil War (2016) Importance of Artifact: This artifact is important because it displays one individual’s courage and integrity to stand for what they believe is right. Captain America has always been a symbol of American rebellion and freedom since his conception in the original comic books. This theme is still alive today in this modern adaptation of his story in the 2016 film when he refuses to sign the Sokovia Accords (peace treaty agreement), a legal document that gives the United Nations control over the Avengers, even if it means fighting his friends. Genre: Superhero science fiction film, thriller (war movie) Similar Artifacts:
A spin vane was added and a water-jacked condenser was attached. Isopentyl nitrite (0.06ml, 0.045 mmol) was dissolved in 1,2-dimethoxyethane (0.50 ml) in a 3-ml conical vial and caped to prevent loss by evaporation. Running the reaction. The mixture in the 5-ml conical vial containing the tetraphenylcyclopentadienone and anthranilic acid was heated on an aluminum block to 140° C. Once the mixture started to boil the prepared mixture of isopentyl nitrite was added to the 5-ml conical vial through the top of the condenser using a pasture pipette.
It is Captain America’s duty to not just protect the American people, but to lead and guide them. He is the face of all that America stands for from his star spangled suit to his values and heroism. Captain America symbolizes freedom and protection. I feel like he 's often understood to symbolize America, but he stands for more than that. He had never run from a fight and always insisted on standing up for himself and his beliefs.
Exhausted Teenagers?? Many American Teenagers can have a stressful life but what really is causing the stress? In the article, “Today’s Exhausted Superkids” by Frank Bruni states that school and having “helicopter parents” is the major factor causing stress. But in Robert Pondiscio rebuttal in the article, “The Myth of the Overstressed American Teen” he states that getting more involved creates a positive outcome and doesn’t cause stress.
Lack of money in a household can create conflicts in the family. In the short story “A cap for Steve”, by Morley Callaghan, the relationship between a father and son is put to test with the use of money. The twenty dollars that are being offered to Dave is what causes the relationship between him and his son to become more distant. Dave prioritizes and cares about money over his son’s interest of baseball. In “A cap for Steve”, the power of money creates a struggle in the relationship of Dave and Steve.
ELECTRIC ENERGY DRINKS Teya Rampaul Grade 9H INTRODUCTION Energy drinks give us a quick burst of energy when we are feeling tired but which one gives us the most amount of energy? To find out which energy drink would give us the most I am going to test which energy drink has the highest voltage. One of the people I interviewed said that they would like to know which energy drink has the highest voltage. Another person that I questioned said that he doubted energy drinks had any voltage at all.
This coil has an electrical resistor which resists the flow of electricity, which in effect converts electrical energy into heat as energy goes through the coil. Due to this, the heat energy produced by the resistor heats up the water within the kettle to boiling point. The heating element is controlled by a bimetallic thermostat, which contains a variable resistor inside it. Integrated at the bottom of the kettle, it consists of a disc of two different metals bonded tightly together, curved in a particular direction. As temperature inside the kettle rises, one metal expands faster than the other, set up in a manner
will sponsor the research of Jeff Dahn till the issues are resolved. Mr. Dahn will focus on expanding the capacity of voltage in batteries without damaging their longevity and reducing the cost of materials. Based on the chief technologist in Tesla Motors Mr. Straubel’s expectation energy density of the batteries and cruising range of electric vehicles need to be increased, thereby battery cost and weight need to be reduced in order to cut the price for Tesla car further model and to meet a sales target of a cumulative one million vehicles by 2020. “In addition to advances in chemistry, Tesla Motors is aiming to reduce its battery costs by bringing in-house the suppliers and processing of lithium, nickel cobalt and graphite. We are making constant progress on all that.
Super-Size Me is a documentary film, created by Morgan Spurlock. This documentary emphasizes the message of the risks of consuming fast food and the outcomes that fast food has on people’s health. Spurlock came up with this idea from a lawsuit that involved two young girls suing McDonalds for their weight problems. The presiding judge over this case ruled that there was not sufficient evidence that their health issues were caused by consuming food from McDonalds. As an experiment to see if these girl’s claim had any merit, Spurlock was determined to only consume food from McDonalds for thirty days and see if there was any correlation between eating fast food and declining of health.
Chemistry IA Background information: Introduction: Electrolysis it’s a chemical process that when you pass an electric current into a solution or a liquid that contains ions to separate substances back to their original form. The main components that are required for electrolysis to take a place are: Electrolyte: it’s a substance that when dissolved in water it ionize and then it will contain free moving ions and without these moving ions the process of electrolysis won’t take place. Direct current (DC): This current provides the energy needed to discharge the ions in the electrolyte Electrodes: it’s an object that conducts electricity and it’s used in electrolysis as a bridge between the solution and power supply. A great example
Solubility of a Salt Introduction: The solubility of a pure substance in a particular solvent is the quantity of that substance that will dissolve in a given amount of a solvent. Solubility varies with the temperature of the solvent. Thus, solubility must be expressed as quantity of solute per quantity of solvent at a specific temperature. For most ionic solids, especially salts, and water, solubility varies directly with the temperature.
Neuromorphic technology is that Computer chips are used which mimic the human brain. Even today's best super-computers cannot rival sophistication of human brain. Computers are the linear, moving data back and forth between the memory chips and a central processor over a high-speed backbone.
