When Superior Officers (SO) motivate their BMs by giving real life examples, then BMs learning becomes easier and faster, as they understand things better. Telling through live examples has far more powerful and easy influence on the BMs than by other means. The correlation coefficient in this case is 0.657, which is significant at 1% level.
As regards, the problem solving skills, there is a strong relationship between the levels of problem solving skills and dependence on SOs by BMs. Skills of problem solving are also associated with the support of the SOs to the Branch Manager. (r = 0.666 at 1% level of significance).Suitable training programs has to be arranged to see that BMs are adequately trained to find solutions to branch problems

Leadership has many definitions. Chin, Desormeaux, and Sawyer (2016) define leadership as a relationship between followers and a leader with the intent to promote change through a mutual vision. Therefore, leaders are active influences in the outcome of organizations, through their decision-making, strategies, and influence on followers (Dinh et al., 2014). Additionally, in the nursing context, it has been documented that a leader 's style plays a factor in patient outcomes (Fischer, 2016). Indeed, in an ever-changing, complex health care environment, nursing leadership has become a crucial factor in managing challenges and maintaining patient safety (Fischer, 2016).
According to my research, Maslow 's hierarchy of needs is a motivational theory in psychology comprising a five tier model of human needs, often depicted as hierarchical levels within a pyramid. This theory wanted to understand what motivates people. Maslow believed that people possess a set of motivation systems unrelated to rewards or unconscious desires. He stated that people are motivated to achieve certain needs and that some needs take precedence over others. Our most basic need is for physical survival, and this will be the first thing that motivates our behaviour.
All human kind have certain needs which must be fulfilled. Lack of these needs will compel one to take actions to fulfill these needs. Maslow’s hierarchy lists five of these basic needs that all human requires. He said that we have needs that need to be fulfilled in specific order. His hierarchy is rather a motivation than a checklist.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs and the four principles of Ethics are also evident in this assignment. 1.1 Maslow Hierarchy of needs This pyramid concept was created by a psychologist named Abraham Maslow. [Figure 1] The most basic needs are at the base and the more complex needs of the patient is at the top of the pyramid ¹. The lower four needs are referred to as deficiency needs, these needs are due to a lack of something and they have to be satisfied to avoid unpleasantness.¹

This model states that in this 21st century, it is impossible to rely on one management style to fit all situations (Educational-business-articles.com, 2016). In other words managers and leaders must be flexible, in order to get the best result out of their teams and individuals. In addition, this theory allows management and leadership to be able to identify and accurately diagnose the situation and vary employees’ behavior accordingly to the situation (Yukl and Mahsud, 2010). This will enable management and leadership at CIBCFCIB to select appropriate types of leadership behavior for each type of situation. Moreover, another impact that this theory has on organizational strategy whereby Charismatic leaders at CIBCFCIB can minimize various types of behaviour by increasing competent employees.
Employee influenced including “delegated levels of authority, responsibility, power etc”. Work system including “designing of the work and the aliment of people in the work”. A new theory established by an American psychologist Abraham Maslow in 1943 to support the human resource management policies and choices component of the Harvard Model. This theory called as “Maslow Hierarchy of Needs”.
Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is displayed as a pyramid and is built on a foundation of basic needs that must not only be met but satisfied before higher levels of the needs are met. On the bottom of the pyramid are physiological needs and these are required to sustain life such as breathing, water, food and shelter to mention a few. Once these are met, people can move onto the next level of need which is safety. Safety needs can be financial, medical, safe environment and job security. Next on the pyramid are social needs which include friendship, belongingness, love and acceptance.
