You should never be alone. When you are alone you are most vulnerable. The killer will also be locked on you instead of a group. Another reason is if you die no one will know where you went and might die looking for you. The killer will try outsmarting you when you are alone because when you are alone your only insints are to run and try to get away, but if you are in a group you might think of an idea to stop the killer.

If you don’t stay quiet you are going to die. The killer will hear you if you make any noise. Even if you stay quiet you can still die because you must also hide. If you hide never chose the most obvious places like under the bed, the closet, and in the bathroom because that is the first place that the killer would check.
It is also nice to have a dumb friend. A dumb friend has many advantages and some disadvantages. One advantage is if you are both running from the killer and they fall the killer will go for them because they are the easiest targets. Another reason is he might distract the killer and while the killer is distracted you can escape or defeat the killer. A disadvantage is the dumb friend might make the killer aware that you are there.
There are more steps you can use but these are the most important ones that most anyone can do except having a dumb friend, you don’t need it but it is nice to have.
