In the 14th amendment it said ‘all persons born or naturalized in the United States... No state shall...abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall... deprive any person of life, liberty, or property....nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” This amendment stated how the citizens of the United States shouldn’t be denied their rights, women didn’t get this, Susan B. Anthony wanted to change thar for women to get their equality. The 15th amendment was passed which was ‘The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied…”
