Today in this modern era of rapid development, countries around the globe have adapted various strategies in developing nation in their own constrains. Bhutan have seen the Tourism industry as one of the ways to realize its development goals but in contrast, to accomplish sustainable development has become one of the major challenges for the people of Bhutan.
Tourism to some extend have boosted the economic development with its incoming foreign exchange but it has adverse negative impact on social life and environment hampering the sustainable development in Bhutan. Wildlife tourism is seen as one of the most frequent tourist activities in Bhutan. The Royal
Government of Bhutan have opened some of the natural parts for tourist to meet their interest adding another milestone to the progression of ecotourism in Bhutan(WWF,2011). The natural parts provide tourist with vast natural diversities of birds, animals and plants in addition to its physical features. These activities indeed have negative impacts on the wildlife. Some of these includes the importing or transmission of diseases to the animals in that balanced ecosystem. Whether purposeful or accidental, human activities can disturb the natural flora and fauna and change the natural environment. Due to the presence of human and human activities animal may change their habitat, eating habits and their behaviours.

Pollution is yet another concept that affects the whole ideology of sustainable development in line with the tourism. According to the United Nation Environment Program, Pollution has been found to be one of the immediate impact of tourism to the environment in numerous forms such as air pollution, noise pollution, solid waste, sewage and so on.
With different modes of transportation of tourist like road and air in Bhutan, there is increase in air pollution. Polluted air from tourist transportation has impacts on the global level, especially from carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions related to transportation energy use. And it can contribute to severe local air pollution. Some of these impacts are quite specific to tourist activities. When the number of tourist increases it is certain that not only the mode of transportation should have more facilities but also it has to increase its capacity leading to more number of vehicles and aeroplanes which means greater pollution of
