INTRODUCTION
Australia – is an Australian, American and British ancient epic film. The movie parades the landscape, flat grasslands, effusive waterfalls and a grubby country town with brilliant colors, intense emptiness, and vivid sounds as warplanes bomb a city” (Tanalee, 2008). The romantic drama film was shot in 2008 in Sydney, Darwin, Kununurra, and Bowen and openings took place on 26th November, 2008 in Australia and US. Directed by Baz Luhrmann, the picture starred Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, with action between 1939 to 1942 including events of bombing of Darwin during World War II. An Englishwoman is defined, who "has lost her sense of self but who finds adventure, romance and her true self" when she visits the country (Sweney, 2008). The film earned second highest on the list. It made the movie momentous by aiding the viewers in identifying the characters. In addition to that, the movie also showcased animals like kangaroos and brumbies which are endemic to Australia hence depicting ‘true Australia’. Furthermore, the history of Australia such as bombing of the Darwin Harbour is highlighted alongside wonderful landscapes, cattle ranges, and the Australian outback which Australia is prominent for.
