3.0 MIDA’S SWOT ANALYSIS
3.1 STRENGHT
• 100% support from Malaysia government.
• Sole organization in Malaysia that have the authority to approve foreign investor.
• Wide range of connection in cooperation with other Malaysia’s Ministries such as Malaysian Royal Customs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Ministers and many more.
• Wages of workers are in stable condition.
• Excellent distribution of power in the organization. (Systematic organization chart.)
• Established from 1967. (48 years of experience in developing Malaysia)

3.2 WEAKNESNESS
• Limited power of authority as the flow of approving foreign investors as the approval needed to be approve by multiple government sectors. (Customs, Ministry of Finance and many more.)

• To expend the current development in Malaysia into another level in term of technological, services, manufacturing, green technology, information technology development, food and beverage and many more.
• To increase the development of Malaysia in various ways which will contribute in the growth of Malaysia’s economic status.
3.4 THREATS
• The development of new organization to pull more foreign investors into Malaysia such as Iskandar Regional Development Authorities, Sabah Economic Development And Investment Authority, and many more.
• Other Malaysia neighbor country’s Development Authorities such as Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and many more.
• The economic status and the political status of Malaysia. If the economic status and political status of Malaysia is in bad condition is in not a good condition, foreign investors will.
• If the environmental status of Malaysia is not good in the term of if there are any active riot or war in Malaysia, even there is a certain states only, the foreign investors will not invest in development of Malaysia.

Workers or employees have two options to choose their working schedule. The second option is working time start at 8.30am and end at 5.30pm. Employees can choose their schedule by asking from Human Resource managers. Although MIDA is a private company sector, MIDA have 5 working days same goes to government. This is because, MIDA’s originally is a government sector but in January 2012, MIDA had converted in private sector. In the month of Muslims which is Ramadhan, MIDA’s working hour changed. Employees started their working time at 7.30am and end at 4.30pm. Non- Muslim also needed to follow schedule in Ramadhan.
Like other organization, MIDA also have annual leave for their workers. In MIDA system, they give 18 day annual leave for new workers that have been work less than 1 year. If workers already work in MIDA for more than one year, they can get 30 days annual leave. If workers didn’t use their annual leave, they can bring it to next year. For the next year, if they don’t use it too, MIDA will change the annual leave with cash which is bonus. Besides that, MIDA also give appreciation to workers that have an excellent
