MARKET AND TARGET MARKET OVERVIEW
Our market will be in UP Campus and South Triangle. We will target mostly male with a monthly allowance ranges from Php4001-Php6000. These are the people that usually play card games. Almost all of them play outplay games which is the category of BURST! card game. Outplay games are games that the main goal is to get rid of all the cards in your card by outplaying them. Majority of the respondents say that they buy card games once a year and plays with their friends rather than their family. They also want a game to last for 10 minutes which is the minimum length of one round in playing card games. Outplay games - This is by far the largest main category. Each player has a hand of cards and a move consists of playing out one or more cards to the table to achieve some effect. The play ends when some or all of the players have run out of cards to play.
2. Card Exchange games - Each player has a hand of cards and a move consists of exchanging a card or cards. The exchange may be with another player or with a stock of face-up or face-down cards on the table. The objective is generally to collect certain cards or combinations of cards.
3. Hand Comparison games - In these games there is little or no actual play of cards. The result is determined simply by comparing the cards dealt to the players to see which is best, or sometimes simply on the turn of a card or cards to decide whether a player wins or loses. In some games there may be an opportunity to improve your position by drawing some extra cards, or by choosing how to arrange your cards into groups. There are many gambling games in this category, often with elaborate betting procedures.

In this table, we saw that 117 out of the 400 respondents cares most of the mechanics of the game. 37 of them answered that the ease of learning the game are the most important factor. 27 of them cares much about the design of the card and only 25 of them cares of the price. In Table 3, we cross tabulated the gender of the respondents and the type of card game played by the respondents. There are 43 of the male respondents who does not play card games and only 22 in the female. In the type of card games, 117 of the female respondents play outplay games which is more than the number of male who play outplay games with 100 answers.
