It is a family own business opened to the public in June 8, 2013. The hotel and resort offers wide range of short time and full-time accommodation package. Other than that, Tropical Breeze can accommodate family outings, weddings, birthday parties, corporate seminars and conferences. In the 4 years of operation, the hotel and resort is using manual encoding of data using Microsoft Excel in all of their transactions. Manual listing of guests and guest arrival in a logbook is another practice that’s makes their procedures/processes simpler. 2. Overview of plan contents The purpose of this information system strategic plan is to enhance the over-all system of Tropical Breeze Hotel and Resort using different kinds of information system strategies and database system that can enable the hotel achieve and realize the objectives and goals of the organization.
