4.1 Internal Analysis
4.1.1 Strengths
The strengths of MCB Bank are the following:
1. MCB is the first Pakistani privatized bank because of its quality management, marketing, innovation in product and services is performing well in financial market.
2. It has created a good reputation in the banking sector.
3. It has 1275 branches on different places in Pakistan.
4. It has one of the nation’s largest ATM network with more than 1070+ ATMs covering 390 cities across the country and it is still growing.
5. It provides MCB mobile ATM for convenient world class banking services.
4.1.2 Weaknesses:
1. Mismanagement of time is the biggest mistake in MCB branches that the official time of bank closing is 5:30pm but the staff is normally on their seats till 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
2. Due to the lack of advertisement majority of the people are not well aware about the products of MCB.
3. There is lack of specialized skill because of rotation policy of human resource management.
4. Most of the staff and employees are dissatisfied due to low salaries as compared to same position in other banks.
5. It is also seen that the staff complain about over loaded of work. It is the reason that turnover ratio of MCB is increasing.

1. What problems did you encounter when handling the complaint? Whenever I received complaints, the problem is that the subordinates usually deny or come up with some explanations making it difficult to discuss it in a genuine manner. Sometimes even if we reprimand them for their mistakes it creates a very tense environment in the hospital and it also affects the quality of work.
The major issue over here was the knowledge skills of the staff which was already employed in the financial services sectors. Thus an extensive analysis of the employee’s qualifications was indispensible, so that all the employees which went to meet the customers should have minimum training as desired. If the employee did not have the required skills then the organization needed to establish proper training courses, so that the employee standards could be met.
