Introduction of Fresh & White toothpaste
Our invention does not stop there, in 1993, we started introducing Fresh & White toothpaste.
1990
The year where we set up our very first manufacturing plant
March of 1990 was a stimulating year for us, as we successfully set up the very first manufacturing plant in Tebrau Industrial Estate, outside Johor Bahru with a land area of 10 acres.
To further enhance the product line of Southern Lion, we started producing detergents in powder, liquid, bar and paste form. Our excitement does not stop there, in the same year we also crafted Senang dishwashing paste and Mama Lemon for our sister companies.
1997
The fabrication of second drying tower
With the birth of the second drying tower, our powder detergent production was doubled, all thanks to the expansion of our production capacity.
1998
The first year into Personal Care Products market, with introduction of Shokubutsu
