It is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA, TI is the third largest manufacturer of semiconductors worldwide after Intel and Samsung. About 75% of the company 's semiconductor products moved through its distribution network, which includes four regional distribution centers and more than 70 smaller offices. One in Dallas, Texas to service in North America. one in Utrecht, Netherlands to service in Europe, one in Tsukuba, Japan to serve the market in the country. But TI does not manage these facilities themselves, they use third-party logistics service providers (3PLs) to handle the day to day operations of these warehouses. Another 10% of TI 's chip shipped directly from the factory to the customer. The other 15% are sent to the warehouse near customer 's plants. Meanwhile, the company also set up a global platform to connect with external partners to exchange information. It uses a variety of methods, from Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to XML messaging over the Internet, and to connect the external player.
