LEAD PARAGRAPH
Hamburgers, meaty, juicy, succulent, all-American fare. Loved round the world, American hamburgers have a strong pull. They are addictive!
When you find yourself in the Cow Hollow/Marina Districts of San Francisco there are three must try places for remarkable American hamburgers. I’ve placed them in the order I discovered them – all are wonderful.
PARAGRAPHS
Perry’s, Union Street
A 45-year-old San Francisco establishment, Perry’s food and service are always top notch. The Perry’s Burger is made with house ground beef and served fully dressed on a billowy homemade bun. Cooked to your liking, the meat is top quality, tender, full of flavor and oh so juicy.

Everything is fresh and the best quality. A full service bar serves up micro brews, wine and spirits.
Try this celebrated burger at 1944 Union Street, between Buchanan and Laguna Streets, in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco. Outside and inside table seating is available. Food is also served at the bar. It’s the perfect lunch or dinner spot while strolling and shopping on Union. Breakfast and Sunday Brunch are also served.
Causwell’s, Chestnut Street
Causwell’s in San Francisco’s Marina neighborhood is a real local’s favorite. They serve their house ground beef burger with American Cheese, Causwell’s Sauce, a very special pickle and onion. Succulent, beefy, cheesy – yum. Vinaigrette dressed greens come on the side.
I enjoy this burger with a cold beer. They serve one call ‘Mama’s Little Yella Pils’, a light American Pilsner, that doesn’t overpower the food. Perfect match.
Outside and inside table seating is available. Food is also served at the bar. My favorite seat is the stool height counter in the front window. It’s ideal if you are a people

Chestnut Street is the commercial hub of the Marina District. Causwell’s is a spot-on stop for lunch after a morning exploring the Palace of Fine Arts. This beautiful San Francisco landmark is just a short walk to a memorable burger.
Umami Burger, Union Street
In Cow Hollow on Union and Fillmore, Umami Burger gives you a wide selection of burgers, eleven in all. Try an American style burger, bbq burger, truffle burger or an Ahi tuna burger, turkey burger, even a black bean burger and several other varieties.
All Umami’s beef is ground in-house. In fact, everything you eat is made in-house. The buns, condiments, pickles, everything. The freshness and quality is obvious in the burgers and accompaniments. Salads and four types of French fries plus onion rings are irresistible, but don’t pass up the Pickle Plate, a seasonal variety of house pickled veggies that add the perfect tang to your meal. Local craft beer on tap and bottle, wine and soft drinks round out the beverage menu.
Umami Burger is an ideal Union Street shopping respite or a great place to meet friends for a meal. Inside table and bar seating is offered. At 2184 Union Street, San Francisco in Cow Hollow/Marina there is a burger you must try.

Jim’s Fallbrook Market Ask any of the Woodland Hills residents which business has been open the longest and you can be sure that Jim’s Fallbrook Market is going to be the most popular answer. Jim McQuaid started out by renting space for a meat counter in the local market in 1951, but by 1958, he was not just the local butcher; he was the owner of Jim’s Fallbrook Market. The store has since passed down to his son and now, grandson, but you can be sure that this place is here to stay and is keeping up with Jim’s promise to offer quality meat and, just as important, quality service. In Woodland Hills, Jim’s Fallbrook Market is the place to go when you need fresh meat.
Robb 's 125th Street Grill serves home style meals in a warm and charming exposed-brick atmosphere. The manila steamed clams with focaccia bread and the grilled chicken quesadilla wth gooey cheese make for fantastic starters. Juicy burger options include the bacon and melted cream cheese laden Avocado Burger and the Old West Burger with barbecue sauce and golden fried onion rings. Comforting entrees, like the Roast Turkey Dinner with cornbread stuffing and the Meatloaf Plate with mashed potatoes are what Robb 's 125th Street Grill is all about.
The menu doesn 't stop with the gourmet burgers and other sandwich favorites. It continues with salads, soups, appetizers and entrées that won 't leave anyone with a craving unanswered. That goes for a sweet tooth craving too with the famous towering ring of donuts, mountain high mudd pie and double berry cheesecake. A
Try the Johnny V Restaurant (625 E. Las Olas Blvd.) for award winning, four-star cuisine by acclaimed chef Johnny Vinczencz which is touted as the “New American cuisine.” For an “upscale menu” of Italian classics, try the Timpano Chophouse and Martini Bar (450 E. Las Olas Blvd.). Yolo’s (333 E. Las Olas Blvd.) lives up to the meaning “you only live once” with its delicious take on American dishes, the O Lounge, and an outdoor patio bar. The American Social Bar and Restaurant (721 E. Las Olas Blvd.) is a glimpse into the social clubs of yesteryear with a chic nostalgic flair on Americana décor and superb hospitality. Las Olas is also home to two highly regarded chocolatiers, Hoffmans Chocolates (920 E. Las Olas Blvd.) and Kilwins (809 E. Las Olas Blvd.), each presenting a top-of-the-line confectionery
They have a wide variety of appetizers and main courses. My favorite appetizer has to be their black pepper chicken wings. It is a mouth watering combination of sweet and salty and has the perfect amount of spiciness for a variety of different palettes. For the main courses, I especially love the ribs with a side of sauted green beans. When you look at the dish, you immediately want to devour the smoldering red, tender ribs, as well as the juicy seasoned beans.
The horseshoes is one of Springfield’s signature dishes, it was created in late 1920s by Chef Joe Schweska (Horseshoe Sandwich Recipe and History). His wife Elizabeth influenced him and the development of horseshoe was established. This sandwich has transformed over time, today it is now served with two pieces of bread, either ham steak or hamburger patties, with the cheese sauce poured over the fries that are on top of the sandwich. Springfield is not only the house to lunch or dinner but also dessert. Pease’s is Springfield’s oldest candy store, which have be up and running since Lincoln.
This restaurant is a very popular location for many students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, so there has been growing concern as to whether or not it is safe to eat there. Jon Robles, general manager of the Highway 280
first I tried out their original chicken sandwich because according to them they are the ones that discovered the original chicken sandwich. When I took a bite into the sandwich I could taste that they seasoned the chicken very well, and it didn't taste like frozen chicken patties, so I was very glad about
The café is the main dining area it has mediocre food and somewhat of a selection. The Sub Connection serves decent subs along with a side of chips, soup or a fruit. The Sub Connection is decent, but it’s doesn’t even compare to Subway. They only give you a six inch sub with your meal plan swipe. If you want a foot-long sandwich you have to pay for the second half.
The phenomenal dip is warm with stringy, melted cheese on the top. Mixing the sour
They offer fresh white meat chicken tenders, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, tangy delicious Cane’s sauce and garlic buttered Texas toast. The menu is limited. A current canes employee stated, “A reason for that success says Dover, who started his job last July after stepping down as Chief Executive of Metromedia Restaurant group, is that the company focuses on what it does best and makes sure it does it well,”(Thorn). Since they have such a small menu they can provide fresh food, quickly.
Why not try their fried mac and cheese balls? They also have what is known as the Killer Cowboy Burger and they have announced to add more.. well, healthy meals to their menu soon, like wraps and salads. Feeling brave and want to belt out that favorite song you can 't get
My favorite restaurant is the Cheesecake Factory at the Prudential Center. The Cheesecake Factory is on the corner of Belvidere St, and Huntington Avenue in Boston. The restaurant is near the E green line train which you can exit into the prudential center. Also, there is the 39 bus which has a stop on the corner of Huntington Ave and Belvidere St, in which you can cross the street to reach the restaurant.
