FIRST TASKS: 01. Evaluate the different system development life cycle models which can be used for this case study. (LO1.1) What is System Development Life Cycle? The Software Development Life Cycle is a process used by software engineering industry to create, develop and test high standard software. SDLC is the shorten form of Software Development Life Cycle. The software development life cycle (SDLC) is the entire process of formal, logical steps taken to develop a software product. Software development life cycle is a set of activities and associated results which produce a software product. The SDLC desires to produce a high standard software that meets customer requirements, reaches completion within times and cost estimates. In early…show more content…
Stage 3: Designing the product architecture: The third step of the SDLC is, designing the product architecture. After the requirement defining, the design stage should be started. In this stage mainly do the design activities. Firstly, should be select the best architecture for the product to be designed. This will Based on the requirements specified in Software Requirement Specification. A design approach evidently defines all the architectural modules of the product. A solution to the problem is designed by defining a logical sequence of steps, such a sequence of steps is often referred to as an algorithm. This will graphically representation with the external and third party modules. Various methods used to define program algorithms include flowcharts and pseudo code. These tools allow the program designer to break a given problem…show more content…
Sometimes known as the implementation stage. The actual development starts and the product is built in this stage. Coding is a main task of this stage. The algorithms are translated into a programming language. Not only that, this is the longest phase of the SDLC.Various high level programming languages such as C, C++ and Java are used for coding. Stage 5: Documentation and Testing the Product: The fifth step of the SDLC is Documentation and Testing the Product. Firstly, let’s think about the documentation. The documentation of the program fulfils two main objectives. Why documentation is needed?  Provide a technical reference to facilitate ongoing maintenance.  The second is to provide user documentation. Now let’s think about the testing task. Testing task are mostly involved in all the stages of System Development Life Cycle. The aim of software testing is to find any errors ("bugs") in the program, to eliminate those errors (a process known as "debugging") Stage 6: Deployment in the Market and Maintenance: The sixth and the last step of the SDLC is Deployment in the Market and
