This research aims to study all the relevant existing values in Taman Negara Pahang (TNP), which involves several stakeholders such as local community, indigenous community, local and international tourists and last but not least the park authority. There are two types of values that have been concerned in this study. The tangible values which regard towards economic perspective and the intangible values which are more related to recreational, cultural, educational, research and monitoring, artistic and aesthetic, and existence. It has outstanding tourism resources that can attract tourists to visit the park including the scenic landscape of Mount Tahan which is the highest point of Peninsular Malaysia, the rare flora and fauna in TNP, the six available rivers namely Sungai Tahan, Sungai Tembeling, Sungai Keniam, Sungai Tenor, Sungai Perkai and Sungai Terengganare which are good fishing spots (Harman, 2013).
